 Author has written 20 stories for Lord of the Rings, CSI: New York, CSI, and Hobbit. Welcome to my profile! I'm Hobbsy3, I'm female, half English, half Australian, I live in the UK and I'm currently working in a bookshop. I am an aspiring author and I've been on this website for a good few years now. As such, many of my stories, in particular those in the CSI category and my first ever Lord of the Rings Story, Ello, Ello, are not what I would consider good writing. They were written when I was fourteen, fifteen, sixteen years old, and feature so many cliches and examples of poor writing that I've been tempted to take them down. However, I want to keep them up so that people who want to start writing can see how far you can come in just a few short years. They can also be funny to look over and cringe on. This website has developed my writing so much, and has been a lifeline for me in very difficult times, and I wouldn't want to delete or censor any part of my journey. That said, my stories can get very dark. The Kids Aren't Alright in particular deals with some very dark issues, and I'm not sure that I was fully able to comprehend or portray them in a fully sensitive way, though I did my best at the time with what I knew. Which wasn't always a lot, to be honest. I am a very passionate fan of many things, but in particular most of the works of JRR Tolkien, the Harry Potter series, and the BBC adaptation of Sherlock. My current works are all to do with The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. My longest ever fic and my pride and joy, Strangers Like Me, has been insanely popular and was awarded the 2016 Favourite Lord of the Rings Fic in the Fanfiction awards, which was an amazing honour.
