![]() Author has written 1 story for X-overs. There is a quote I found online that sums up my approach to things rather nicely.
When an idea is good but the implantation is flawed, I am willing to look at the idea instead. Because of this the "What If" kind of scenarios simply fascinate me. I don't really care how well you write or how much you have to say. To me, it's the ideas that matter. Of course, communicating those ideas effectively is just as important. Like mister LeWitt said, an idea is a machine. To have a machine work takes lots of effort and time. Sometimes I look and find something pristine just a-chugging right along. Sometimes I find something that seems like a fixer-upper. Mostly I just browse. And the internet is great for browsing. (Ba-Dum-Tish) But not all the time. I like taking a fixer-upper or six home with me. I'll take them apart, buff off all the rust, and start building something new. I'm like that one guy with a bunch of rusty cars in pieces on his front lawn, only with ideas and the internet instead of cars and the lawn. |
