Man this is now the third time im rereading this story and i realy hope this story comes back one day. I can say how much I've been waiting on the 01 cast to interact with the rest of the group and have a bigger role. This is a fantastic crossover and i love how things get incorporated to make a coherent. realy hope you countinue it one day

Read through "Teacher of All Things" and quite enjoyed it, as well as what little of this story there is. The future looks grim, the hiatus lasting his long, but I'm hopeful that there'll be an update next year. Till that glorious day, thank you, and farewell.

I was super happy to find out that there was a sequel to "The Teacher Of All Things". Bad news, its almost been a year since this story was updated. I hope this story is still alive, you've done an awesome job.

I admire your valiant efforts to make 02's plots actually coherent. :)

The new kids are smart to use more variety in their Armor Evolutions. The older ones play a bigger role and Tai even trains the new ones. Izzy is on top form, doing the detective work. Going for the Emperor's main base is also a bold and smart move. Kari seems to share Tai's penchant for tactics; like brother, like sister.

Davis and Yolei are a tad annoying, but I can't really blame you for that. Not all kids are supposed to be nice and agreeable. Hell, Matt's love for his brother led him to say and do pretty dumb things in canon and the prequel alike. Annoying heroes are fine as long as they learn to be less so as the story progresses. I have my doubts about whether Davis has a place as a character even later on though; he can't stay this way, but if he changes, it'll be very hard to make sure he won't become just another Tai.

The older heroes don't seem to take Ken that seriously. Dude is just a huge step down from the highly intelligent, strategic and/or powerful evil tamers, vampires, machines, killer agents of chaos and deities they had to face.

The Dark Ocean/Area plot is interesting. Not that good 'mons can't accidentally fall into the Dark Area, but according to Gatomon, the most evil ones end up in it after dying and have to serve even more evil beings. You've said before that you had plans for the Demon Lords in 02, so I guess they must be these masters, and they could even be plotting to get out of it.

Lastly, I hope Neo's MetalGreymon earns his redemption after all the atrocities he committed as Machinedramon/Chaosdramon. I think he'll probably go to the Dark Area and be used as a minion by the Demon Lords. I can see him coming back as a BlackAgumon, reaching an evil Mega form by himself or with their help (Machinedramon again because they might have figured his intelligence and tech skills would be useful, BlackWarGreymon because he was a character looking for a new purpose in canon, or even RustTyrannomon because it'd be different). He'd have little choice but to keep his head down and follow orders until he'd become at least an ultimate, but then he'd start to subtly sabotage his bosses, play double agent a la Wizardmon, and then warm up to the heroes when he'd come back to the surface world, helping them more and more until he'd make a heroic sacrifice and come back to Neo as a redeemed monster and a worthy partner.

I can belive how fantastic this story is, there are so few v-tamer stories and this one just rises above them all. Ive finaly gotten to read this one and it does not disappoint. I realy hope we'll see some more involvment from neo and gang soon and i was wondering why they havent joined tai in the digital world yet, would it be too painfull to go back? But anyway this is a fantastic story and i hope you get the time to update it some day. Until then I'll be waiting.

I just wanted to stop by and say that this story and it's predecessor, Teacher of All Things, are two of the most incredible Digimon stories that I have been so blessed as to read. I have mostly fallen out of this fandom, but these two were some of the few things that kept me from forgetting this piece of my childhood completely. While I hope you haven't given up on them, I just wanted to let you know that your writing was one of the things that inspired me to try writing my own story in this fandom.

Agumon should got power to digivolve to victorygreymon considering tai is victory tamer

When it comes to Davis and Veemon Digivolution line, I kinda want it to follow the Veedramon then AeroVeedramon and finally, for their mega let it be UlforceVeedramon. I'm mean Tai had a reaction when seeing Veemon and I'm curious to see how he'll react when seeing his former partner but as someone else, with someone else.

Oh and I forgot to mention. Maybe have Neo’s MetalGreymon be reborn as a Hackmon instead of Agumon X or BlackAgumon.

Oh and if you’re going to have Meiko and Meicoomon appear in the series maybe sever Meicoomon’s ties to Apocalymon if you’re going to have Mephistomon be Apocalymon reborn. And if you’re going to do an alternate take on Tamers maybe do something like ask what would happen if Jeri had Impmon as her partner and show what happens.

Just some suggestions again.

I’m actually really enjoying this story so far. I like how due to Tai’s experience, he was almost able to stop Ken’s reign of terror instantly. The fact that you’re swapping around the Digi-Eggs is a great way to mix up things. I’ve actually had some ideas for this fanfic. Maybe try take some ideas from other Digimon fanfictions like Digimon Children of the Present, Digimon 02: A Revision, and Digimon 02: The Story We Never Told. Maybe even deconstructing some parts for this story and subsequent sequels. I’d honestly recommend to read these three fanfics to take inspiration from.

In Children of Time, the Digital Worlds of Adventure, Tamers, Frontier, Savers, Xros Wars were merely just fragments of one whole digital world. Considering how more brutal the Digital World of Tamers is. I think if you were to make the Digital World of Adventure and Tamers merge. I think maybe have many Digimon of the Adventure world be horrified at how brutal the Digimon of the Tamers Digital World are. Considering that Digimon in the Tamers Digital World turn into data for other Digimon to absorb that’s going to mortify many Digimon from Adventure’s Digital World though mayne you could save this idea for a Tamers adaptation.

In both “Story We Never Told” and 02: A Revision, Devimon returns more powerful than he was in Adventure as a NeoDevimon in “Story We Never Told” and as a fanmade Digimon called UmbraDevimon. Maybe have Devimon return to fight TK and Patamon only to realize he’s screwed when Patamon digivolves to MagnaAngemon, and that’s when Devimon tries getting stronger.

In both rewrites they also give Dagomon a little more prominence. Well considering that Dagomon is just a perfect level and at the moment that Tai’s group (Not counting TK and Kari) have acess to Mega Level Digimon. He’s not really going to last long. Especially if Gatomon and Patamon manage to get to the Mega level.

In “The Story We Never Told.” there’s a resistance group led by a Gargomon fighting against the Digimon Emperor. Sounds good right? Well... the Gargomon hates humans. Like he really hates them. He even is willing to attack the Digidestined and their Digimon. So why not have a resistance leader like say, a BlackGargomon end up having his attacks on the Digidestined be frowned upon. These guys have the audacity to attack the people who are trying to improve the Digital World. Maybe have the resistance end uo causing as much destruction as the Emperor due to their hatred of humans getting in the way of actually helping the Digital World. You could possibly have them end up destroying part of File City with the Digidestined saving many Digimon from the army and word of the attack spreads. Many Digimon think this Resistance group is doing more harm and don’t want them bringing their destruction to their homes like have Digitamamon banning resistance members from entering his restaurant, Revolvermon and Starmon putting up wanted signs of the resistance leader, Andromon providing housing for Digimon whose homes were destroyed by the resistance. Maybe have Ken save many Digimon in some attacks from the resistance to show he really wants to seek redemption.

I’m guessing that since you’re doing your own take on Hurricane Touchdown to make more sense that you’re not going to omit the International Digidestined.

On the subject of Zero. If he’s going to return, he could probably have SnowAgumon as a rookie form upon reincarnation, heck maybe not giving a shit about being “replaced” by Agumon considering Hideto had Warg and Melg. Heck if Zero were to return why not the Alias III have their partners too.

Mari’s Rosemon could say reincarnate into an Alraumon who’s line goes like this

Alraumon Sunflowmon Blossomon Lotusmon

Wizardmon could have possibly gained a new line, maybe digivolving into Mistymon and then Dynasmon.

Hideto could possibly have Warg and Melg become a BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon to form Omegamon Alter-S.

Heck maybe have Pal and Pul reincarnate into a Lunamon and Coronamon respectively and become partners to Rei.

As for the 02 kids Mega forms for their Digimon. I’m guessing that Davis and Yolei will obviously have Imperialdramon and Valkyriemon respectively. Cody and Ken... If you’re going with Shakkoumon as Ankylomon’s ultimate then SlashAngemon or ClavisAngemon could work to keep a Holy theme. Ken could probably go with BanchoStingmon for Wormmon’s Mega.

I’m not saying that I’m expecting this to happen. I’m just giving suggestions if you want to have your take on 02 really diverge.

So I’m curious. Does Tai still have some power leftover from the Digimental? And what role would that play for the egg Digimentals if that one did show up? It would be a curious thing to see.

About the new group of digidestined. I’m guessing they will get the whole story about Tai’s first journey at some point right? Would that be before or after the Daisuke and Parallelmon adventure? And seeing as they are gradually understanding the seriousness of fighting, will they see the scars Tai obtained during his capture by Myotismon? In fact, out of curiosity, what would their reactions be when they learn that Tai is actually “The Great One”, someone who has had massive influence on the Digital World? I bet those would be hilarious.

The final thing I wanted to ask was about the crossover adventure with Takuya from Digimon Frontier. Seeing as Daisuke in your story series is in the same reality as V-Tamer Taichi, does that mean Takuya is too? Just that his Digital World is more so into the future? Would they end up meeting at some point outside the Digital World? It’s a curious thought.
