For those of you who already know me, I don’t need an introduction. For those who are newcomers… well, I’m Crazyeight. Probably all you need to know really. Not too inclined to go around giving away information about myself to complete and total strangers until I’ve gotten to know you better. Anyway, as I’m sure that you’ve guessed, I’m a fan of the TV show, Digimon, particularly season three, which I felt had the most realistic feel to its storyline and characters (though Adventure and 02 were also pretty good. Frontier sadly wasn’t all that impressive in my mind, but it had some okay parts to it. The battles with the Royal Knights for instance was my favorite story arc of that season), and as you may have guessed by looking at my story summaries (or a previous edition of my profile) I’m a Rukato fan (Rika x Takato), which is really the only pairing that I’ve really cared about, though Jurato (Jeri x Takato) and Ryuki (Ryo x Rika) scenes find their way in as well.

(And why not? Keeps things interesting :P)

Overall, I’ve got no problem with pairings, and refuse to bash them unless it’s done in parody, in which case even my own preferences will be subject to the same treatment (as evidenced in my ‘Fourth Wall’ series, which is a multi-season crossover set in the world of fan fiction), so rest assured that in my stories all characters and views will be treated with as much respect that is possible. Read, review, or just fire a PM at me if you just want to talk or ask me about a story idea. And if you want me to beta read your work, I'll do that, and you can expect me to give constructive criticism and tips, though I may not be the right candidate for the job.

Rowlet10: This chapter needed a bit of darkness to sell the severity of the situation (though to be fair, Tamers is pretty dark for a digimon season) and it would have been unrealistic for there to not be any casualties. That's not to say that every chapter of the story will be that way. But this battle needed it.

Dracofighter: As I was writing this chapter and adding some things to it that are kind of necessary to maintain continuity, I came to realize that there was no way it could be done without doing some fairly shocking things since this is a war and horrible things happen in war. I sat on it for a short bit to think things over before deciding to just rip the bandaid off since things are going to be getting even more serious down the road. I felt it was important for the digimon to maintain some measure of lightheartedness despite things to keep their partners from freaking out too much (the digimon have always been good at helping them stay grounded).

Yeah, there's definitely going to be a fair bit of fallout from this fight. Lots of infrastructure damage occurred and plenty of injuries and possibly fatalities as well. There's going to be some very angry people out there. The Devas may give the Tamers time to catch their breath, but it's not likely that humans will. But we'll see how things turn out.

Dracofighter: Takato isn't the only character who has received feedback. It was mentioned before that Tai received some during the fight with Piedmon back in season one, so it can happen to any of the characters (and will as the battle with Indramon heats up). The difference between most other characters and Takato is that Takato created his partner, which puts a little bit of himself in Guilmon, creating a more powerful connection that cuts both ways.
