Holy fuck... there was so much emotion and meaning behind this incredible culmination to what must be the Holy Grail of fanfiction. It had its ups and downs, but this resonated with me at times and got me thinking about where I want to be, what I want my future to look like. For a fanfic to do so... for ANY story to do so, that's incredible.

Excellent writing! Very simple idea in theory executed really well, enough to be a plausibly authentic take on the Illya route concept. Although things really spiralled out towards the end, it was still a very enjoyable read!

I loved this story, and the twists and turns the story went were never predictable from the get go. A lot of fun, but bad for my heart. I can only take so much excitment at once. Thank you for creating what I now consider the Iliya route

mumbo jumbo over the course of the last few jears that i understood the Start without having to read it twice

P.S: That chapter 43 was monstrous

This story was lots of fun to read. I was always sad that there is no Illya road in canon. I love how it has started, Shirou doing something completely in character for him during canon meeting.

I had lots of fun when Rin thought that Shirou made alliance with Berserker master. Her deduction was very reasonable and possible but completely wrong.

I never liked Gilgamesh because of how much of assholle he is. His child self was great improvement. His ego was finally entertaining and he even admitted that his older self is a prick.

Saber changing from Alter form was interesting and I like how it was done. Her new personality was lots of fun. I can't help but see parallel between her coming to save Medusa and return of Teresa of the Faint Smile from "Claymore". I love how she ignore all attempts of psychological attack.

I am really impressed of how Rin defeated Kirei.

Final battle with all those heroes fighting agents army of monsters was great. I also like very much Medusa and Arturia fights against servant summoned by heart. Sabler more because of how she dominates multiple strong opponents. Medusa was even better fighting against her sisters and younger self. What I really love about it was fact that guilt was main factor hindering her. The moment that Sakura convinced her to fight to win and she embraced her inner monster fight was practically over. It is a fact that servants are more vulnerable to things that hurt them in legends so Gorgon massacring her sisters was not only reasonable but expected.

I like relationship you created for Sakura and Illya. While they didn't like each other on personal level they are very caring for each other because of similar history. "I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy" fits perfectly to them.

Only thing that I don't like is that we don't learn what have happened with Gilgamesh after final battle. I think that it is rather important fact.

Upon rereading this, I find it almost odd given the tone of this story that you didn’t manage to work in a way to horrify Sakura with EMIYA’s history. Also, I’m pretty sure that canonically Shirou was aware of Archer’s nature on some level from the outset. His continued confusion over this feels off.
