What a place to leave this story off. As it has been four years since the last update, I’m inclined to assume this will never be finished, but I’m glad it got this far. I think this chapter is the best one in the story. As I’m more interested in every plot but Twilight Sparkle and the griffons, I’ll leave off here, but I’m quite intrigued. And happy that Luna is freed and out to do—well, we don’t know what, but I’m sure it would make for an interesting read!

This is freaking weird. When I was reading Chapter 1, I was running a scenario in my mind where Brain Brights was the one who left the death note and I was right. Then I had also thought of an evil Celestia in this alternative world and I was right again! Looks like we're on the same page

I really appreciate what you've done here. You are delving more deeply into ideas about government than I usually do, but you're making me think. As for characterization, I see no problem. Would it make sense if I said that you really make them human ( even though they are ponies)?
