You're telling more than you're showing. Protagonist keeps monologuing everything that's happening without giving a feel of progression or impact. I read that first section in the same tone as Spongebob during an episode I watched as a kid.

The cool concept drew me in, but I really hope this doesn't turn into a Gary Stu thing.

Is this gonna keep happening with the mc keep 'forgetting things' or conveniently stopping at certain points so it can follow canon ? Cause fck all has happened so far

huh, at first I thought this story will be cute, different and interesting. No one want to make their MC an animal. But noooo, her personality let me down. She's weak and can't do anything. Totally not my kind of mc. I don't demand much, as long she has strength that she can use to at least stay alive. But she keep limited herself. First, she didn't want to do thievery, or beg, or hunt. Are she want to die? We will do anything to stay alive, dammit. Humans. Two, she keeps side-trackers. Can't she focus for a second? She's a dog, yes, but still has human mind. It used for something. Third, this is what make me pissed. She keeps say 'I need to do something' but she didn't do anything. You don't need to remember canon to do something. She's a dog, she should have a good hearing and smelling. She should know first when someone coming. Even my cats always know when I came to the kitchen. Then the last, she always on her own world. Sleep, day dreaming, even in fight. Watching fight, like it's not her fight and she will not get caught. This make me furious. She's like a happy-go-lucky person. At least make either her strength, intelligence or personality stood out!

Okay I haven't posted any reviews up to this point because I felt I didn't need to on account of how amazing this story is but 1 thing during this arc regarding Mamori that pisses me off a little bit is how shitty her attitude towards Franky is, I don't give a shit if it's still all because of Ussop getting beat up, the whole time I'm reading, I notice that she continues to bare her fangs and continues to growl at Franky when I feel that she needs to shut the fuck up with her inner thoughts and accept his help, because if it weren't for Franky and the role he played in this Arc, the straw hats would have been in deeper shit than that already were.

Sorry for the rant but the other straw hats aren't talking shit towards Franky at all and seemingly accepted his help (Whether they really liked it or not is irrelevant) so why is Mamori the only 1 doing this?

Aside from this though, the story is great.

This was like so cool! Cute and funny! I could not stop reading, took me like 10 hours to read but so worth it! I had dream for something like this! No, seriously I love this idea of someone being an animal and keeping a secret that they are human. I find it fantastic! I'm sad that it isn't continuing (most likely) but I'm just glad something like this exists!

In here he could have gone to try and help the other dog's shop from getting burned...or at least, tried to attack the thieves that had gone and hid inside the same boat he was supposed to guard. I feel he is very passive about things that don't really involve anyone getting super hurt or killed which annoys me a bit because he isn't really doing anything at all! Even the other dog was better at staying active when facing danger and he wasn't as big as the MC. :/
