Huh, both second-person POV and present tense, the opposite of what's usually used in two ways. This is really jarring to try and read.

I thought this situation, or something very similar to it, might happen. I remember the Ghostbusters quote ("If someone asks if you are a god, you say yes!") but I'm not sure how will it applies in this case. It's a very tricky situation.
