I look forward to when Emiya meets Jack Harper. I want to see him unbalance him. Out of everyone in Mass Effect TIM was the character I hated the most. The reason is because while the guy portrays himself as a leader and "savior" of humanity with an absolute vision, he is just a narcissistic man who has always been just a grunt and a tool. He was merc for hire under General Williams to get his hands dirty. Later he became a tool to that Reaper beacon. Even after sacrificing his own friends he has the never to think he is the most qualified to believe that what he wants for humanity is right? He fails to admit his faults, insisting they are the work of fringe groups. He plays with powers he doesn't understand and when he states sacrifices are need...what exactly has he sacrificed? Those people he sent to death's door had families and dreams, Jack had nothing to sacrifice because he had no soul in the beginning.

Couldn't read fast enough but finding meaningful words for the review was another problem altogether.

The misinterpretations continue to amuse but I'm sure someone will peice together more than they realize eventually.

Cassani being just as accomplished as two MC's, good for him even if he seems to have gotten more infamy than praise...sure shirou can give him some tips.

And the gang continues on together, oh what will come next?

Putting my past review in retrospect, I will be taking back some of my statements and cleaning it up.

Everything I say is my biased opinion, so I ask, but neither demand nor expect you, to not take it personally.

My previous review was rough, most of my distaste of info-dumps and such a result of many well-written and interesting stories filled with them. That, mixed with a bad mood, resulted in words fueled by negative emotions. I won't apologIze for that, because it already happened and you are going to feel how your going to feel, but I will say that effort will be made to prevent comments that come off a rude and hateful in the present and future interaction(s) we may or may not, directly or indirectly, have.

My 6.5 rating I gave is wrong, far as I'm concerned. This story is incomplete, and that aside, ratings are labels that are not universal nor tell the whole story as to why such a rating was given.

Ultimately, if you enjoy writing or telling a story in a specific manner, then by all means do so. While adjustments can be made, I recommend making them ONLY if you think and feel the adjustments are necessary. People are selfish by nature and as a individual you have every right to do as you do. Feeling bad for yourself is just a reaction to something, so just remind yourself that ultimately your choices, thoughts, opinion, etc come first.

I do not hate your story nor do I hate you. I also do not enjoy your story nor do I...like you? (I don't know you personally, so I honestly am stuck with indifference). I feel it has too much of something, but if you think otherwise, then stick with that thought. Over thinking it will cause your mind to struggle with itself about what your doing "wrong" and "right". Just do your "right" method and either ignore or consider details of what I or others personally consider to be the "right" method.

Now to simplify my view of this story. I find it to be well written, but trying too hard in telling me about the world. I feel the need to clarify, so I will. You have this awe-inspiring world with thousands of interesting details and tidbits, with good characters to boot. However, the time/pace of that world progresses 1/4 the speed it would in real time. While that gives you time to examine every bit of that gorgeous world, it also means one hour becomes four hours and more time is used waiting and examining instead of interacting and exploring.

Essentially, the time spent world building is also time spent waiting for the story to progress. I'm not going to tell you what to do with any of this, as each person has their own individual perception and this is my own. Whether it matters to your or not is completely in your hands, err, eyes.

In any case, I'm done here. I'm not posting this as some apology nor some concealed insult. I'm simply right my own wrongs and clarifying what I enjoy and what I take issue with this story. If you are satisfied with what I take issue with, that's fine. I'll do as I do, you'll do as you do. Good for me, good for you.

Well its good you are back on you're feet,and active. This is hands down one of the best fics in this site. Some say you overexplain things but I believe it works really well for the Mass Effect world. One of the most enjoyable things about Mass Effect is the world itself, and little tidbits here and there that connect to small things you have seen before. Any fan of Mass effect series and has a like of the Fate series should love this fic as I do. I also love how you made the characters you see in like little notes to actual relevant characters, like Tyra. That Thessian arc was spectacular and thrilling. Almost felt like a Kingsman movie. I can just imagine your Archer to do some Monty like moves and fighting an army while sipping tea. Latest chapter was great, though i think Archer scoffed too much, and brooding was used too many times lol.

I'm beginning to suspect that those human bodies in the tubes will be fetched by Emiya...perhaps used to liberate other Servants to be used as vessels?

Half of peoples love of mass effect is the info dump oddly enough sometimes I just make a cupa tae and listen to the logs. Some really interesting stuff in there so don't be afraid to info dump if need be.

as much as I love everything you do... please tell me we are on our way to the main story ish?
