I was expecting Xander hitting things with the Hammer but there was almost no pounding.

This is a great story, I hope you update soon. I should point out one tiny flaw-in the series, neither Tok'ra nor Jaffa could use the arm bands that juice up the wearer. They wouldn't work for anyone with a symbiote. Still, this is an AU, so I guess it works differently in your universe.

It just hit me that they are geeks, but no-one made any connections to a certain mortal who got his hands on a hammer as a reward for helping certain people.
If I need to specify that it was a certain WARHAMMER you're not geek enough.

This is still one of my favorite versions of Xander, the snarky smartass that can be competent, even if he seems like the clown. I also like the nods to former classmates, especially the guy he lost Class Clown to.

Xander and Jack were great as uncle and nephew, snarking at each other. The whole one-upsmanship over "classified" was hilarious.

I think you nailed the best parts of all of the characters from both series. You did a great job of not bashing anyone, like some writers (even the canon ones) have a habit of doing. Xander's interactions with both Janet and Freya/Anise were really amusing. Although it reminds me a bit of your Xander in Capes and Cowls, with other guys asking about his cologne.

One question, is that really Glory's power he's absorbed? And will SG-Xander have to stay off world from now on? Or just no closer than Colorado?

I love this story. It's fun and crazy. A well written piece that pulls you in.

"...Older weapons are preferable." I suspect this is specifically with reference to arrows or melee weapons.

You can get guns that are just as easy to maintain, while at the sametime they do not require extensive physical training to wield and they do a whole lot more damage than even a crossbow.

Seriously crossbows and bows in general lack stopping power when compared to the alternative. Hunting bolts for crossbows look nothing like the triangular points one assosicated with bows, they fold out on impact to do maximum damage and even then they are less effective then a gun.

Dude you create so many fun stories but drop them just as things are heating up. It kills me!
