I used to write fan fiction. Then I used to not write fan fiction. Now I write fan fiction again. I should be writing original stories.

I really like Neon Genesis Evangelion. I really hate Rebuild of Evangelion. In fact, the reason I started working on Evangelion fan fiction in the first place was in large part so I'd have a positive outlet for all my bitterness regarding Rebuild, especially the portrayal of Asuka.

30 Days - I am so, so sorry that I haven't been working on this. I haven't given up on it though! I'll get back to it eventually.

Stuff I Want to Write:

By Some Definition (working title) - An ironic ode to Evangelion WAFF. Explaining it would ruin it, I think?

Disconnect (working title) - Another A/S story, a two-parter set about four years after Third Impact, starring Toji and Hikari. This is technically the first idea I've had for an Eva fanfic, but it's both structurally and thematically so ambitious that I'm not sure I'll ever be capable of actually writing it out. As it stands, it's going to involve extensively interlaced first person and third person narratives from two different points of view mirrored perfectly across two chapters, plus a different, independent third person narrative - and the whole thing is supposed to be a meta-textual examination of Asuka's and Shinji's relationship.

Perhaps a DC Universe story about Cassandra Cain, Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown all hooking up.

Maybe Someday:

A much longer, much more rounded Evangelion story based on a simple high concept idea: what if the Angels never stopped coming? I'm picturing a world of 2030 where new Angels are attacking en masse, with plenty of original characters and ongoing mysteries about what happened to Shinji and gang. This might be too big a project for me to commit to.
