This is definitely one of the better fics of this crossover type, but it could stand to be better. The OCs are the most boring part with the way their POVs are shown, but occasionally there’s a good one.

This isn’t too bad, but it’s got some bad moments. The Magus Kayaba reveal could have been done much, much better, and Shirou and Ilya don’t even bother thinking about it at all.

There’s also Shirou’s attitude, which assuming he’s not from any of three routes explains how stupid he is thinking he can just save people just like that, but it’s still stupid and poorly done that he thinks roaming randomly will save more people than just clearing the floors and saving the assault team.

The only good things that stand out is Ilya with Asuna and Shirou with Kirito. The diavel stuff’s not bad but honestly it’s hard to care about it since it needed to be forced in for the Boss fight ending

Even in the UBW route, when caster held taiga hostage, he contemplated killing Rin if she made any moves that would get Taiga killed.

At least we know that Shirou Emiya, of the main Fate/stay night timelines, holds Taiga to be more dear than Rin.

Yup. Even Archer prioritized Rin's life over stopping the Shadow.

He could have abandoned Rin to die, run away, and defeated the Shadow by himself with a bit more time and planning.

But Shirou Emiya just NEEDS to protect those in front of him(Those that he cares for anyway) instead of thinking about those he can't see in the immediate moment.

Of course Archer, being Shirou Emiya, isn't an exception to this rule.

He may admonish his younger self about saving lives, but when push comes to shove and lives are in need of saving? Well, actions speak louder than words.

Emiya: ''Heroes are losers.''

Then, he sees peoples lives are in danger,

Emiya: ''Well, here I go again.''

And now dual wielding is not an exclusive skill. That takes away a great deal of Kirito's unique nature as well as potentially shirou's.

you realize manipulation of the soul is the third magic? heavens feel is the third magic. I'm not super keen on this story so far but I'm continuing to read because it shows some promise in shirou and illya. you've pretty much overturned the entirety of the moonlit world with the way you're going about this story so far.

Ok wow. I'm actually just cruising along here waiting for the inevtiable magecraft reveal, but the whole fifth floor was awesome. Really good use of the crossover material! Also, this last chapter had me crack up so hard...
