| theJacSon chapter 42 . 9/20/2019 (Keep in mind I've seen no Lupin) At first, I was really engaged with the series, but towards the middle, I felt a sort of shift in power for Lupin. Lupin was getting away with a bit too much, I understand he's an amazing thief and all, but I certainly felt like he was overpowered for this. I really liked his dynamic with kotomine and Kariya actually getting his wish, but outside of that, he feels a bit mary sueish. Killing Gilgamesh was a big surprise, seeing as that's not how Lancer's NP works (i.e. spear broken curse no more). It also didn't feel as satisfying as casters death, it just felt unsatisfactory. Like Gilgamesh needed to be taken down a narrative notch( this is coming from someone who realizes Gil a jobber). The writing quality was fine ( the reuse of certain words was a bit tiresome.), but the whole story came off as Lupin wank. |

| Forum Explorer chapter 31 . 5/1/2019 Welp, that's about as far as I'm going to read. Ultimately I ended up disappointed with the story. Mostly because, well, I don't feel like you sold me on Lupin's victories. Besides Caster that is. Lancer was the worst, but taking down Archer was also pretty mediocre. Overall, I just lost interest once I realized this story was about how Lupin was going to win, and would bend over backwards to ensure that he did. I feel like the Waver chapters are the perfect example of this. Rider does literally nothing, until it's time for him to interact with Lupin. And then he only acts in a manner that benefits Lupin. Emiya's whole plot with Pycal is an attack on Lupin, but he ends up going after Waver, and lets himself get injured in the process. Then he continues to go after Waver, completely ignoring the possibility of Lupin ambushing him, which lets Lupin give a very smug speech. I jumped ahead, and found that more of the same happened. So...yeah. Not my style, thumbs down, all that jazz. |

| Pallan Minerva chapter 42 . 1/31/2019 Wow. What a beautiful adventure. I really felt the passion you had for these characters. It was well done. Portrayal of Lupin as a villain was a smart move. The redirection of Kirei, the rephrasing of all the good moments from Fate/Zero and all your little twists... What a piece. I can only hope that I will get to enjoy some of your other works.
