Considering Kyo fell into the pool of the Drowned GIRL, shouldn't that mean that Kagura would need the pool of the Drowned BOY to counter her inherent curse?

Also would utilizing the pool of a drowned namesake overwrite the conditions of the Sohma curse?

So drowned rat for Yuki, boar for Kagura etc. With Kyo out of luck, because he's already under the girl curse.

Would be similar to how you had it overcome the werewolf curse in your HP time travel story with a nicer Snape.

Gah! Fruits Basket is my Childhood. It's one of the first manga I read including Ranma 1/2 and Fullmetal Alchemist. That being said this crossover has spawned Ideas. Like. What would happen if he Kyo fell into the Spring of Drowned Cat? Would his curse have shifted still? Would it have been fully taken over? Such potential! Truly crossing these two is a fascinating idea!

This story is sort of amusing, but it has a pretty major flaw.

Everything is going according to plan for the protagonist pretty much all the time. There is probably a trope name for this, but it's a common form of bad writing. It really isn't interesting if things always go well.

If you want the story to actually be interesting you need to have things start going wrong often enough that it's noticeable.

You can still have some things go better than in the original Ranma like you have been. But you need to have unintended negative consequences for things to keep it interesting.
