Olivebirdy chapter 1 . 5/26 Time to update this again! :D |
Guest chapter 16 . 11/6/2019 This is one of the most interesting fics in the fandom. I hope you come back to it some day. The idea that Shirou, with Illya's near infinite mana and Avalon, is somehow making himself a literal body of swords is something I'd love see happen. Rather, I'd love to see everyone get freaked out by it. Sakura's struggles as the Black Grail are also always great to read. |
Xperior chapter 11 . 9/30/2019 THANK GOD SHINJI IS DEAD YEEEEESSSSSSS THIS IS EVERYTHING IVE EVER WANTED AND MORE! NO MORE BITCHES WHO ARE TOO AFRAID TO KILL HIM OFF! YOROKOBE! |
Guest chapter 15 . 9/28/2019 Shirou not feeling pain anymore. That can’t be a good sign. Ilya’s nerve damage is progressing too then? Christ, everyone’s gonna die horrible deaths by the end of this. Enjoying every moment of it. |
LuminousReviews chapter 16 . 9/22/2019 Splendid, simply splendid... |
Hf chapter 16 . 9/3/2019 I'm getting archer x Sakura vibes Also at this point shirou should be pretty much dead, not sur what going on but sound interesting. |
Bellerogrim chapter 16 . 6/30/2019 I am speechless. What happens in this chapter is something that I have long envisioned for myself, left as a vague and shapeless thought that I couldn't bring to life. YOU have done so, brought it to life in a vivid and thrilling manner. Thank you for writing this. This was something I NEEDED to read, and I can hardly believe how privileged I am to have done so. Thank you. |
Bellerogrim chapter 15 . 6/30/2019 Oooh! Such an amazing chapter; I'm shivering! Thank you so much for writing this story, this chapter! Thank you for keeping this story going! |
Ninja4hir3 chapter 16 . 5/20/2019 This story has been an absolute treat so far. The characters are rock solid, for good and ill. Seriously, the amount of time I spent imagining Shinji dying in horrific ways leading up to the bloodfort incident speaks well of the characterization. The undying Shirou segments have been fun as well, at this point, I am imagining a sword zombie Emiya stumbling out into the world. |
nice chapter 16 . 4/15/2019 I hope you finish this because this is truly good |
man chapter 16 . 4/6/2019 this is sad this will never be finished it was awesome |
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO chapter 13 . 4/6/2019 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOL |
Guest chapter 16 . 2/7/2019 Is Shirou about to make himself a body out of swords or something? Oh boy. |
Pallan Minerva chapter 16 . 1/29/2019 When I read “black and decker”, I cringed. It was painful. When I got to the rape scene, I wanted to walk away. It was suffering. This story was worth sticking through, though, and I see despite all odds you believe the same. This is a good story. I cannot wait to see where it goes. |
iXie chapter 16 . 1/2/2019 For this chapter in particular, it's somewhat ...evoking. That counter guardian Emiya is still not mentioning at least one more secret. That both his end and start, in the sense of this reality, of these words on not-paper, can be said to be same. That his entrance to the Holy Grail war, and his plan to escape/abandonment of this reality/world... ...is A Distant Utopia. *grins* But puns aside, I was not sure I would follow or discard this work at the start. At that Chapter 1 - written in 2009. Even if I am writing this review in 2019, now. ...No magecraft, miracle or magic in this series can proffer the salvation for the prime cause of that, can it? Huh. But it can offer one to some of the players here. That long-ago chapter 1...I could easily imagine an epilogue, or rather, a report. Without projection of Excalibur, Arturia would be unable to triumph over Heracles; who would be unable to deal with Gilgamesh in turn. No matter how the other servants danced, the disdainful hoarder from last war could just take what he wanted. And well, were he to step aside, it would only be because the field was found so wanting that he would be dirtied by mongrels by his very presence, even when next to the noblest treasure still remaining. It was all too neat. An introduction should be the place one would say "I wonder what will happen", not "well, I guess the reminder is clear". And now? I wonder what will happen at the Einzberns' in next chapter. I wonder how many sibling pairs will I see. One? Two? Zero? I wonder if Caster will break the last rule she has left unbroken, having the -desperate- motive and believing herself to have the means. I don't wonder - for I know that the time between 1 and 16 was not void of meaning. Even in terms of same events, the technique is clearly on a different rank. If I were to offer a drop of tar... I still don't wonder about the golden child-king of Babylon. Sure, I may no longer be certain what will happen, but at this point, with this tone, I feel like the most interesting parts of his defeat shall be the personal relationships and growth for the allies of allies of justice. There's potential there, I think. Even the strongest storm is just watery backdrop the hero braves; and the so-called strongest servant's will is weakest of the characters in this work, for now - after all, when was the last time someone triumphed for greed for a trinket that's to collect dust in a cupboard? ...Well, even as I say that, I doubt I will see the next update, even if it were posted tomorrow. After all, who knows in how many years I next see this work? |
