Poll: I have noticed, as I read many of the glorious fics out there, that I start to lose patience in fics that are really long. I have mentioned that "Schooled" is essentially an endless story, but that doesn't mean it has to be one, long fic. I am a really voracious reader, but must admit I have just quit in stories or skipped to the end, even when I love the story, because it just seems like it takes too damn long to read when there are so many other awesome stories out there waiting. So, I ask you what you prefer: Vote Now!

Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pitch Black / Riddick, and Sherlock. DECEMBER 31, 2016 (updated 1/2/17) JUST QUICK UPDATE SO YOU DON'T HATE ME, next chapter of "Schooled" is done and I am just waiting for my proofreader to get it back to me remember that it's been a while and I'm trying to prevent continuity errors, etc She said I'll have it back by Wednesday My hubby came through for me I have a laptop as of 6:15pm, New Year's Eve. That means I will write up the new-again chapter for "Schooled" starting around 6a.m. tomorrow (have to set it all up first) and will post it tomorrow night or early on the 2nd Happy New Year, all, and Blessed Be WyrdSmith SEPTEMBER 10, 2016 Bright the Day, everyone! First, thank you. These past couple years have been trying, and I have been in bed more than out by at least a 3 to 1 ratio. Nevertheless, I count life as good. My old PC and all it held are gone. I doubt I will ever recover the files and lost chapters, and that means I have to rewrite the endings to my stories. At present, I don't have a computer, but I believe my beloved husband will get me a new laptop for Yule. I have begged for this for one reason only: so I may continue writing and fulfill what I vowed. My goal is to write as soon as I have the machine and to post a new chapter -- or, rather, new to you and renewed to me -- to Schooled for New Years. I still swear that I will finish AND POST all my stories. I don't check emails and such often, due to wellness issues, but I will try to resume. Again, thank everyone. The support you folks offer a stranger is incredible. Be well and Blessed Be, WyrdSmith |
