eos9 chapter 32 . 8/10 Hm... so considering everything going on, what's your take on capitalism now? Is it still a moral goal? Honestly, I'm a bit on the fence. As a progressive permanent resident of the UK, I identify as a democratic socialist, which of course is still capitalist. I've got a lot of friends railing against capitalism, but I honestly can't see any other realistic mechanism. By all means, tax the shit out of the 1% and install sane business limitations... but that's still capitalism. But is that the best we can do? Is it the ultimate goal? I don't know anymore. |
BaddieDZ2 chapter 31 . 7/14 Outside of your terrible grammar, and the fact you never learned how to spell, or even include WHOLE WORDS SOMETIMES, this was okay. Until you got super, hardcore religious on it. What the fuck. |
Hmkg chapter 20 . 6/23 Omg why would goblins care about horcuxes |
Guest chapter 11 . 6/15 Mr. Black is part of a Harry potter fanfic that i've read but there is nothing there that says what fanfic this is. Please ,in case im not mistaken, dont claim other's work as your own |
Nad19 chapter 5 . 5/11 what! the fury of light is shamed! *horrified screaming |
excessivelyperky chapter 24 . 4/25 Oh, well done! Voldie's gone (and I would bet cash money Snape will be gone as a teacher as soon as he can find someone to be a good Head of House) and that perhaps the reputation of Slytherin will be improved. Now, what to do about Dumbledore teaching Gryffindors that everything they do is right and nearly murdering a Slytherin is just good clean fun? But I don't expect that big of a miracle. |
excessivelyperky chapter 23 . 4/24 I'm surprised the Lone Traveler doesn't lean on Dumbledore for teaching several generations of Gryffindors that nearly murdering a Slytherin is just good clean fun, myself. Neat bit about Salazar, what a pity he's not telling the rest of the school about that part. Don't forget, Peter's been living in a house with a young girl, too, and watching her and Molly dress and undress. I'm surprised that Sirius didn't tell his family about trying to feed a half-blood to a werewolf, they would have baked a cake for him, at least. |
excessivelyperky chapter 22 . 4/24 Excellent chapter-glad that you thought to establish who was dead already in this AU. And you're right-if goblins own everything they make and get to keep everything a wizard or a witch makes, they would end up with almost everything after long enough. |
excessivelyperky chapter 21 . 4/20 Yeah, *now* Albus thinks about the way he treats Harry (he's still ok with letting Snape be the Marauders' chewtoy. And if Snape was sacked, he'd be dancing out in the parking lot with his trunks in half an hour, and the school would go broke having their potions made by someone who would get paid for it). |
aroshan890 chapter 32 . 4/12 Lol. Farsi is what you call Persian they’re the same thing. Like Spanish and español. |
aroshan890 chapter 30 . 4/11 I have to start off by saying that I’m not offended by anything you said, I’m actually amused. I’m from Iran and I have to say that comparing Iran to Saudi Arabia is a funny way to make Iran look progressive. I’m not being sarcastic either. I’m going to refrain from commenting on the leader. And that should tell you what you need to know without me having to explicitly say anything. Personally, I don’t think he would be able to read the letter but I understand that this is just a story and any discrepancies could be put down to this being an alternate universe. Again, I’m not mad, triggered or offended. |
excessivelyperky chapter 20 . 4/8 You would think the blood sacrifice of Snape, the Headmaster, on Hogwarts grounds (Shrieking Shack counts, right) would help with the ley lines... |
AnthonyR89 chapter 31 . 2/16 as for your rant, eh. i'm not a fan of the leader of Iran, in anyway, but i don't really care enough to make a stink about it either. as for the pope, honestly, the only relatively recent popes i'd have any objections to would be Benedict (a former member of the Hitler Youth) and Pius. you know, the guy who, under his leadership, the catholic church aided nazi war criminalsl to escape justice (and europe). you do seem to be glorifying the catholic faith though, which if you couldn't tell by the last few sentences, i have many, many problems with. or rather, the church, not the faith itself. you probably pissed some people off with your mention of Israel as well. though personally i largely see Israel as the lesser evil. also, dude, not cool arranging the slaughter of 40,000 dogs. there's a reason why they're called man's best friend. and as for the Clancy mention, eh, i always preferred John Kelly/John Clark over Jack Ryan. Without Remorse is still probably my favorite clancy novel. |
AnthonyR89 chapter 29 . 2/15 ...while i'm personally an atheist, or a deist, depending on how charitable i'm feeling, i have relatives who are Mormon (as well as catholic and protestant, and even a cousin who's a Presbyterian Minister with his own church). that being said, i find it mildly insulting for mormons to be compared to scientologists. scientology is nothing more than a cult founded by a con artist. also, the Summer Solistice would be in June, not December. and if you were going to have him avoid claiming the title of Pope, the correct title would have been Bishop of Rome, not Bishop of the Catholic Church. |
AnthonyR89 chapter 28 . 2/15 yeah, i don't see ANY american kneeling to the pope. or anyone else, for that matter. |
