| Guest chapter 10 . 1/3 Your twist to get Harry onto the Quidditch team was ridiculous. Did you forget you made him a self-preserving Slytherin? I could see him jumping to save the day if he was an impulsive, brash Gryffindor, but not a Slytherin. Additionally, as you've written things, he doesn't even like Longbottom and has a grudge against him. So why would he jump on his broom (when he's never even flown before) to save the idiot? The scene was jarring and not very well reasoned of you, but yes, it got him on the team without reenacting the rememberall scene in some fashion. I just hope, after reading this contrived, OOC scene, that you don't have Harry enacting all of his canon Gryff idiocy for each subsequent year. If you do, then why put him in Slytherin? |
