I like the way this is going, great attention to detail. I'm curious, do you see young Harry and Ginny getting together like the alternate older pair? I keep thinking that this incident with Ron will start a separation and maybe he starts getting closer with Hermione, or maybe with the new rules the houses become closer and he starts dating outside of Griffindor.

Brilliant! I'm hoping Ron loses his temper and shouts at Harry who then ends their friendship.

Oh yeah looks like young Harry has taken what his older self had to say. Yep looks like a lot of changes are coming to Hogwarts (wonder how they will all turn out) I'm sure most of the kids like the idea of flying for, besides being on the quidditch team or reserve. Oh yeah Ron sure his lots of hot water (sure hope that they can safe all his cloths, books might be a little harder (being in water after all). Thank goodness that Hagrid was still up to give Ron at least a warm jacket for the walk to Hogwarts, and I'm sure Poppy will keep him warm and make sure that he doesn't get sick be out in the cold and in the water for a time. Ron just can't seem to take responsible for himself and just blames Harry for all his troubles (I'm sure young Harry will get tired of it at some point)

Looks like a friendship ending confrontation in the morning.

The changes to the common room sounds great. I wonder how long before the other Houses learn about the differences and want changes made to their rooms?

Your idea about flying sounds great as well. Hopefully spells are in place in the Pitch to ensure safety as students will fall despite supervision.

I'm disappointed about Neville from the future. Perhaps his upbringing with his Gran made him more predispose to the workings of the Ministry. Glad that Luna went her own way.

Ron jealousy will be a problem

The fact that Ron chose to take the family car to school instead of waiting with Harry is Ron's fault. For him to blame Harry just shows how irresponsible Ron is. I think he might lose Harry as a friend if he gives Harry a bad time about this. Older Harry is really changing a lot of things. The study rooms are a great idea. The physical exams are terrific. They would have been a great idea if older Harry had been examined his first year and every year after that. They would have realized how badly he had been treated and fed at the Dursley's. It will help other students like the girl that almost starved herself to death. Older Harry gave them a lot of information they had never heard before. A great chapter. Thanks for writing. ps
