Daaamn. Okay, first off, while I don't like the idea of "character bashing" for the sake of just hating the character, I do like "character bashing" when there's a plot and am explanation for it.

This fic if yours definitely falls on the latter category, especially with the plot twist you've thrown in.

This is wonderful, and extremely entertaining to read! This is super creative, and there is actually logic in the story, unlike many other AUs. Great job!

I don't know why you think your readers are longing to read about hogwarts. Why would we? It's the most boring, inadequate, dangerous school ever.

I can never understand why harry repeats his time at hogwarts when he goes back in time - how boring must that be for an adult who has already passed Newts? Why not have 'tutoring at home' and take his exams early or go to a school in america for a different experience, after all he's killing off 'harry potter'?

I think Marcus Aurelius is the coolest name ever: hail Aurelius Gaunt!

I love how you wrote 'the Black market'. Makes it look like the Black family started it, which is something I can easily imagine them doing.

I am sold. Haven't even read the first chapter yet, but I don't care. This is gold for me - and interesting that for once, Harry doesn't pass himself off as a Black.
