Oh good, Sesshy's realizing that he needs to include human-esque methods with his little brother who was more raised by and around humans than demons despite growing up slightly feral. (It's not like the demons he was often stuck interacting with were inclined to teach him anything, they were mostly trying to make him into a snack.) He's going to need the help he's considering asking for.
He also might want to consider at least remembering Koga more even if he won't call him by name, since he seems to be the only one with proper demonic education trying/willing to explain things to Inuyasha - he certainly won't be willing to listen to Sesshomaru or trust his word all that easily right now about such things. Maybe Koga will realize he can/should squish Myoga a bit for leaving it to him to explain that kind of thing to Inuyasha? If he's going to insist on allying himself with the younger brother instead of the older he should have actually stepped up to the responsibility plate and checked on his demonic education more thoroughly.

Also, Sesshy, I hope you have noticed that you need to explain things to your intended, like a lot of things, rather explicitly most of the time. He isn't going to realize you have a lot of actual responsibilities as Lord that you take seriously unless you tell and show him considering how used to seeing you avoiding them while sidetracked by a hunt for a weapon he is. Also that you were courting him at all, considering, well, everything. We first met you because you used his dead mother's memory to help you gain access to something hidden in his eye, after all, and all you said you wanted then was the sword. Not cool, dude, even if you were the one to come out of it worse off that day. Maybe it was over the course of the long hunt and fights with Naraku that you decided he's worthy after all, but it's not like anyone could tell you were anything but less violently anti-Inuyasha over the time. Still very rude, regardless of what you know of hierarchies and your relative ranking to them all. I doubt many of them were aware, after all.
Fortunately, the kid isn't scared of you yet, and you are managing that part of things fairly well so far. Seeing you being good with the kid ought to help a lot at softening up Inuyasha regarding considering you more than "my (unfortunately powerful) a****** of a reluctant older half-brother". Not enough to mate on it's own, but enough to willingly cooperate to learn the language to converse with his newest pup. And proving to be good with kids he feels like aiding does make him look like a better mate prospect.
Hey, Inuyasha isn't the only one who already has a pup, Rin counts too. So they're going to end up as a cute little mixed pack with three pups not of their blood from day one (should Inuyasha agree). It's a good thing neither of them care that much about making their own pups, content with their adopted ones. If that was accurate, the implication that having pups to care for already would make it all the less likely to get pregnant (not necessarily because they won't have the time to spare, like human parents often suffer either) that is. The "Elders" or whoever, now they'll be annoyed, but once mated, they don't exactly get a say in the matter. What, are they going to offend their Lord and his chosen Mate by claiming said mate is unworthy? The one person their Lord himself has declared as such? They can try, the first few to do so (especially rudely) will probably lose their heads (or a limb, or something if they are important enough to give them a chance to learn from their mistakes instead of dying, on the first offense).

Is there anything of Princess Izayoi's left anywhere but the place destroyed the day Inuyasha was born? In another property, or salvaged when they rebuilt the site or something? Being able to find that, or written records from their father about her, or something he had made for her, those would be a big damn deal to Inuyasha and would make excellent "I don't hate you, give me a chance to prove it" presents. Stories even, that Sesshomaru might be able to share if he spent any time willingly in her presence before her death - he was certainly old enough to have solid memories of the time. The question then would be if he interacted with her beyond brief glimpses in a hall or something, to have anything in particular to remember beyond her appearance and maybe name.
Could there be anything akin to how humans excitedly set up nurseries for expected and wanted babies? Anything salvaged from the wrecked site or still elsewhere like something small that might have been in another office elsewhere? Something their father had prepared in excitement for his hanyou-pup's birth? Even an equivalent of a playpen in his office would be something that would impact Inuyasha, his outlook on his worthiness, that his father at least wanted him just as much as his mother did. Maybe a toy, or pendant, a carving, something other than his sword that he made for his youngest specifically. Just being able to tell about how excited their father was to hear of the upcoming baby would be a good start, but having something tangible would reinforce it better as not being a faked story. He hasn't really let that kind of thing slip much, certainly not without also being scathing about what a waste it turned out to be and similar implications.
