I love this story! It is a version that has been done before, but you have put a unique spin on it and I love it! I like the fact that they haven’t yet discovered his home life and that Ron is not immediately evil. Much more realistic and even Snape is in character with no sudden change. Hopefully you will continue with this story as I would love to read more. Lovely writing style too!

This fic is really nice, I’m enjoying it a lot. It goes away from the classic cliches of a “Harry in Slytherin” fic. I always hated how they made Sirius mean on those. I think in he end he’d care about his grandson more than a stupid school house. It’s really nice to see that here. I can’t wait for the next chapter! Hope you update soon

I really enjoyes reading this. Harry is very clever at isolating himself. Really looking forward to seeing the day when snape or a fellow slytherin sees through Harry's illusions and helps him for once.

So excited to see this update! I really like the way you've portrayed Sirius in this chapter. It is a very mature and developed portrayal of him. So many fics depict him in a very black or white fasion, and I like the more balanced and realistic approach you take.

I actually agree that something like being resorted could be the kick in the pants that Harry and Sirius needed to actually develop their relationship and force Harry to use the mirror. I enjoyed the description of the chess match between Tracey and Draco. It is interesting that there is this brilliant witch in Slytherin that no one seems to know about in the school. It might be interesting for you to explore why that is. Does Tracey hide? Is it Slytherin prejudice? What is going on? I also look forward to Ron getting some real competition at chess and maybe losing some of his prejudice.
