I wonder what they are going to do aboutDumbledores mind reading habit. I'm surprised but pleased that Draco has backed off, but Theo yeah hes going to get what's coming to him and to the upper years who had beaten on Harry. Game One

Your stories truly do have a great deal of potential. It’s such a damned shame they don’t get farther, if you’ll permit me to say so.

I gotta say, after reading a number of your stories, you *really* have a talent for this style of writing. The whole thing where you just like, summarize the story, instead of the traditional line by line, dialogue and prose, descriptions of it. If there’s a name for the style it’s skipping my memory. It’s one that, imo, is very hard to get right, but when a writer is good at it, it can carry emotion and thought more strongly than the same story if it were told in a traditional novel style.

However long an update takes, I will read it. This is absolutely amazing.

I can never find any good Dark!Trio or even Grey!Trio fanfics so I’m immensely and pleasantly surprised with this one.
I like the way the three click and it makes me happy that Ron is interested and good at something (runes and rituals in this case. Surprising but I like it, runes aren’t used enough in my opinion) instead of just being there as the extra as Harry and Hermione take up the glory of being the best at everything and having to teach him. I’m wondering whether you’ll give a confrontation between Ron and his brothers or perhaps Molly herself? Surely the Weasleys seems furious. I’ll wait and see what you decide on. I’m also enjoying the way you write Hermione, especially loved the encounter with Malfoy and how she essentially established that she would not be messed with easily. She’s also got an larger interest in potions than how most people write her which is a good change from instantly being turned off them because of Snape (though, granted, with her being in Slytherin it changes the way he speaks to her even a bit. After all, everyone knows how he favours his Slytherins even in canon). Now to Harry, I haven’t got a solid opinion upon how his character is written just yet but I’m not minding it and I do like that he revealed his Parselmouth ability to them instead of it just being glossed over until the basilisk or simply never mentioned. The Trio as a whole fit together and act like the Slytherins they are with the united front up around others and an ambitious drive in magic.
I await the meeting between Dumbledore and the Trio pretty eagerly. After all, the one who holds his interest is in the house of snakes, joined closely by a muggleborn and the youngest son of a light family who had been in Gryffindor for a long time. Surely this will shake him.
Anyway, onto your question of Animagi, for Hermione you should go for a predator. Perhaps a bird of sorts. That sharpness you write her with is what gets me for a bird. I might suggest an eagle or if you wanted a magical kind, try a phoneix. Though you do mention her fingers crackling in magic sometimes and that doesn’t quite fit the image of a phoenix to me. For Harry I would go for a snake or something that could blend into the background easily instead of something loud and proud. If you wanted a magical kind, maybe an occamy (as it can grow or shrink to the place it’s in) or a basilisk (two basilisks in one school, wouldn’t that be a nightmare and a half). And I’m not too sure about Ron. He doesn’t seem like he’d have a form that would help him blend in like Harry seems able to but I don’t think a bird would suit him as I think it’d suit Hermione. As for when to get them, I might say second year or middle to late third year. At the rate they seem to grasp magic, they should be fine. I believe Harry should get his first, followed closely by Hermione and then Ron. Then again, as this is your story, it’s entirely up to you.
Now that I’m done (sorry, this is pretty long isn’t it?) I’d just like to say good luck working on this story, may writer’s block never harm your imagination and I await the day you update next!
