My God. You’re brilliant! This is ... honestly, this is a work of art. And, no, I am not being sarcastic.

I usually avoid anything to do with gender-benders. I’ve read a few over the years and there are only a couple I liked and that was because the departure from canon was so extreme as to be more of a nod. The only reason I even opened this story is because I have enjoyed many of your other works and was curious.

That was five hours ago. I have read this straight through, despite my original intention of just skimming the first paragraph or two.

This is utterly original, and is the only fic I have read or heard of that made the gender switch deliberate, palatable, heartwarming, and not melodramatic or sexual. For that alone, you deserve an award.

The characters and plot and humor are impeccable and interesting. You didn’t trash the cliches, you just sailed right through them as if Daisy herself was writing every word. Your goblins, Petunia, Viktor, Draco — all “minor” characters — were inspired. The whole Weasley bunch, the handling of Dumbledore and McGonagall, Remus & Sirius, and on and on ... how did you do that?! They all fit the mold but we’re completely fresh, as well.

And your main characters in the core Daisy Chain and their adults all so pragmatically and unapologetically own their personalities and actions, remaining intelligent and witty and interesting. In addition, you have a command of narrative and dialogue to be envied. Several snippets and expressions are still running through my mind.

I’m going to stop now, because I’m close to fangirling, which is just disturbing in a middle-aged woman. But I tell you truly, you did so very well. And I may have a crush on your Severus.

This fic has gotten pretty ridiculous. I understand there's a place in fanfiction for wish fulfillment, but really this seems excessive. Also there are tons of over used tropes and totally unreasonable leaps of judgement/information going on. Plus it never sits well with me to have completely ooc good guy Slytherin shit going on... Although I do count that as one of the overused tropes that seem to have made their home in this piece.

Your stories are so creative! I wish we could see the future with the Daisy Chain grown up.

I've probably said this before, but it bears repeating. I love the way you write Mcgonagall's accent. Reminds me of my grandpa's old army buddy, who had a very thick, and entertaining Scots burr. Delightful!

I know this is fiction, but the way you explain things (in the potterverse) like muggleborns are the descendants of squibs and other examples too like when snape was having house meeting in this chapter... I would list more but its 5:46am and my brain is pulling a wobbler! Well anyway great story.
