Summary: Creature!Harry has inherited Giant blood from somewhere in the family history. It manifests itself as he is growing up in the Dursley household and the muggles think he has Giantism (think Robert Wadlow, who at age 10 was already 6'6" and grew to be over 8 ft).

Time frame:

1st year (or more, but I want to see Diagon Alley)

Things to consider:
*Where is he sorted? I sort of see Giant!Harry as a Hufflepuff, but you don't have to. Just give me some reasoning for whatever you choose.
*Do people on the Alley mistake him as Hagrid's son?
*Doorways
*Beds - both at the Dursleys and Hogwarts (Do they pull out Hagrid's old bed?)
*Desks
*School supplies (Robes etc. Is there a shop that Hagrid shops at separate from everyone else on Diagon Alley?)
*Do brooms even come that large?
*Wand size?
*Does Harry keep growing? How big does he get? Probably only from one side of the family, so he'd grow like a half-giant (still big!).

Over 200,000 hits at the end of November '10! It's my most popular story, and also one that I had a great deal of fun when writing. :) And 300,000 hits at the beginning of February '11. Whoo! 400K in June '11. Muahahahha. 500K in December '11! 600K in June '12! Nearly 1.5 million in July of '17.

Breaking Forwards

I started writing this one during Nanowrimo '09, but didn't start publishing it until June '10. Only about 35K was salvageable from the original 60K that I managed during that particular November, but it was enough to get me started, and I finally finished in 2011! This story is a great deal darker than Freaks Aren't Allowed, but that doesn't mean that it's totally devoid of fluff or humor. It's just a bit more sparse on that end. I hit 400,000 hits at the beginning of January '12. :) 500K in August '12. Nearly 1,000,000 in July of '17.

Unbuttoned

Harry doesn't know exactly what's happening, but something isn't right between him and Professor Lupin, and he's determined to find out why. Also Harry gets another familiar in this story, and I based the magical creature off of the Pygmy slow loris (this is a Youtube video and it is sooo cute).

This fic had over 200,000 hits as of January '12. And 300K in May '12. 800K in July of '17. And NOT ABANDONED. Just long hiatus.

Burnt

A disabled Harry goes to Hogwarts and gets sorted into Slytherin! I got tired of reading disabled Harry fics written by people who have no concept of what it's like to be disabled, so this is my attempt at it. I have Asperger's Syndrome and a few other related syndromes; so at the very least, I understand what's it like never to quite fit in. This fic had over 200,000 hits as of January '12. And 1.5 million in July of '17.

Session Transcripts

Mentally impaired Harry and transgender Hermione are sorted into Slytherin. This story is told mostly through counselling session transcripts with various first years and their heads of houses. 100,000 hits at the beginning of February '12. 200K in August '12. Nearly 900K in July of '17.
