Awww 3 I love this story so much! It is very well-written, and shows the darker sides of war and people both, yet refuses to become edgy or blaise about it. Thank you for writing it.

I think Harry should be angrier.
Harry Potter just defeated his Dark Lord
after an excruciating battle, choosing to
let himself be killed & crucio’ed without
reacting, watching friends die, and having
Been living ruff with Hermione, Ron, and a
malignant Horcrux, body snatchers, etc

Why would Harry just compliantly accept the
decision of delusional Light Wizards from an
alternate universe to kidnap him to be their prophesized weapon’s substitute, version 4.0...?

Moreover, these self-centered and cold Order of the
Phoenix wix are arrogantly dismissive of their newest
HJP import’s magical skills as well as condescending
about the severity of the challenge posed by v. 4.0’s own insane and soul-fractured Lord Voldemort.

Harry, v. 4.0 learns that not only did their original
Harry Potter (appear) to commit suicide due to
despondency, but the next two victorious HJPs
(versions 2.0 & 3.0) who were also magically
“drafted” against their will, had been brutally
defeated by this world’s reining LV.

He learns that the original Harry Potter had a
different childhood! He was raised in the Magical
World by a free Sirius Black (not abusive Dursleys),
and was sorted Slytherin (did not beg for other House), dated fellow Slytherin Draco Malfoy, and was
mentored (not tortured) by his Head of House,
Severus Snape.

No Horcruxes this time. A sane and magically
powerful Lord Voldemort who has already
captured all of Magical Britain aside from Hogwarts.

If I were Harry Potter and woke up in this nightmare,
I was pitch a Tanty! Harry has already fulfilled his
prophesy. Who’s to say that Dumbledore, et co, can
just substitute an AU Harry Potter and assume that he will satisfy Fate’s requirements as vocalized by Sybil Trelawney?

Maybe LV is supposed to win in this Universe?

This has been a genuine pleasure to read.

Harry has already skrewed up by not forcing "the researchers" into an unbreakable vow to work diligently on finding him a way back home before agreeing with his kidnappers' demands.

Wow. I hate all these people in the order of the Phoenix. Do they not feel sorry for destroying Harry’s life at all? Can’t they see why it would bother him to be forced to fight another one? They are the ones who are stupid if they feel that way.

Wow, I really really really enjoyed that story. Thank you! I find your take on both a darker Dumbledore and alternate universes interesting and original (though I haven’t read THAT much of either one). Your Harry is great, and so are your Ron and Hermione from his universe. I think that some of the characters of the other universe may have been developed more, and it would have been interesting, but the story was great nonetheless and that way I got the feeling that what Harry really focuses on is HIS own world -I guess I’m the one interested in the characters, not him!
Also, nice new wand Harry But I’m not sure about its effect on the Elder wand. Did it cure it from dark magic? Cure Harry from its influence? Something else?

Great story! Tragic what happened to the Harry Dumbledore sacrificed and the other two Slytherin Harrys that died. I wonder if anyone ever let's the lived ones in the other 2 Slytherin Harrys know what became of them. So sad that they might never know.

Super happy that Severus made it through with Harry, and cares so much for him. Love it! Life long friendship there. Wonder if he'll ever get used to Harry's friends, maybe a few decades and he'll be fond? I wonder to if any kids Harry might have will call him Uncle Severus, and if he'll be fond of them too.

Oh. Ohhhhh. Big man Dumbledore gone bugger-up.

Yes, that was something I had been looking for for a long time now. A well written Snape-Mentors-Harry-Fic without any Father/Son-Relationship. Oh, I so enjoy those imensly, bit Harry tends to be a whimp in them and sometimes that's just not what you're wanting right now. But your Harry was neither that nor a total ass, but instead in character. Furthermore did all of your characterisations of the persons from the other universe feel right. It was believable, that the chars we know would behave that way, had some things gone differently. For example, while I don't believe that canon Dumbledore would do such a thing, your Dumbledore could. And I realy did enjoy those characters, from Draco's inability to forget his boyfriend to Hermoines blind trust and obidience. But the best one was of course Snape. Snape, who was sarcastic and intelligent and brave, but who was neither bitter nor a git. And whose Harry gradually grows and get netter. That is the true reason why to read this fic, because of the realistic (if slow) development of a mentor- and friendship. Your Snape protects and teaches Harry, but so does Harry. And it is simply enjoying to read that.
On an other note: It is remarkable, that while noone dies, it doesn't feel childish. Often writers simply like their characters too much to kill them, but this has the effect, that the war doesn't feel real or frightening. But because Harry is paying the price (and you never let the Reader forget that) that isn't the case here. Well done.
All in all, this isn't something you read in one piece simply because it mainly focuses around the characters and not the story ( the character development is driven by the story, not the other way around), but that is fine, because so you get a better feeling for the and get to onow them better. Thank you very much for sharing this piece of work with us!
