Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Age: 27 A little about me: I think it's fun to write and make up stories, though I'm very much an amateur writer and I'm not particularly original. You'll find that I have a tendency to place Harry as the center of attention in my stories. I also like pairing him up with Slytherins. My Salazar/Harry fic has been on hiatus for quite some time and I'm still in the process of updating/rewriting. I love this story and I have many, many big plans for it. My problem as a writer is that I can't just write a simple story. My plots have this tendency to develop into epics. My Harry!Hufflepuff story is also one of those expanding plots that I just can't pin down. As a result, I've been hesitating to put up any of my other stories. I want to finish something and be happy with it before posting again. If you've read any of my stories, on or off site, you'll know that I absolutely LOVE time travel, whether it involves a restart of the series, the marauders, or even the founders! Other than the two stories I have up, I've been writing a Harry is thrown back in time to the Marauders era, and more recently, I've had the urge to write another "Harry wakes up and discovers his parents are alive and Nevile it the BWL" story. (Like I said, I'm not incredibly original.) As I am writing more stories off site, I am finding that no pairing stories are more fun to write. And read. Romance has its moments, but I've found action, adventure, and friendship have so much more to offer. Sex is not the be all and end all. I've been reading fanfiction for... gosh, at least a decade. I'm at a point where I've read so many great books and fanfics, I'm starting to run out of good stories to read. Fanfiction was supposed to be my salvation. This was the place where I could marathon thousands of stories, where creative minds congregated to read and write, where I could discover all sorts of good distractions from the real world. But then, I'd come to the end of a particular genre or a particular series. Stories well written, but left unfinished. Or stories with an ending that left me unsatisfied. I decided, if no one out there is going to write more of the stories I love, I can very well write my own! It certainly beats waiting, wishing and hoping for other authors to take up the mantle. In the words of forthright: "I came to read. I stayed to write." I hope you all enjoy the stories I've written! Hopefully they measure up to expectations. Stories: It Isn't Easy Being a Hufflepuff: part 1 is completed. I'm currently working on part two which includes the summer after fourth year and Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts. Founder's Keeper: my other work in progress, isn't even fully plotted out. I do have some larger ideas I'd like to put into play eventually, but I'll have to build up to that. This is probably my favorite story of all the fanfics I'm writing. But that might be because I love the idea of a story about the founders. They are such great characters! And I always thought that Salazar was misunderstood. Guadian del Fundador: traducción: This is a spanish translation of my fanfic Founder's Keeper, kindly translated by Liotte. It has only the first 5 chapters, and unfortunately, I am not predicting that the remaining chapters will be translated any time soon. If anyone would like to translate my stories, they are more than welcome, so long as I am credited somewhere in the description and/or 1st chapter. I have several other fanfics that I'm working on, and maybe someday I will post them. But I will endeavor to finish my current stories before posting new ones. As always, thank you for reading! |
