I just LOVE the worldbuilding you have here, with the descriptions of the meals at the restaurant. When I read this for the first time years ago, it totally blew my mind, thinking about how food was served or enchanted or whatever.

Oh that was fantastic. I LOVED evil Daphne and the way Draco underestimated her was perfectly in character. I am growing to really like Draco in this. I know you wrote this years ago, and can see how your depiction of Draco has changed since then in your more recent stories, but its lovely to get to know him as a little less slick and together. He cant do Legilimency, his independence from his parents is a big concern, he craves the sanctury of an ordinary, homely living space instead of a manor, he jokes around, the way he partakes in amoral activities without much reluctance but then suffers awful anxiety over Harry's judgement. He's loveable. And i havent evem got started on Harry. God that man is frustrating. That bloody potion! I cant wait to read the next instalment and i hope hope hope he's learning to embrace the lust, rage and jealously...

Fucking hell
This was magnificent. Harry's slow realization of the potion's change, Draco and Daphne-Daphne was such an incredible villain. Sadistic, amoral, terrifying, and powerful. It would have been very easy to go over the top or make her too weak, but you did neither. Wow. Daphne was perfect.

I hate Daphne! Also, why does the Wizarding world not have patent or copyright law? C'mon.

oooh. So what Harry hates about himself has changed. That makes a lot of sense. Does he value his rage, etc. because it allows him to batter protect Draco. That potion is dangerous for people with low self esteem and problems with self-image- in the way it can suppress good things or at least the balance of who they are. At least in some cases

Harry on this potion has been hard or annoying? to read, being slightly out of character. I appreciate your take on Hermione, now recovered. She makes a good character. A muggleborn, purebloods can't help grudgingly respecting. I am looking forward to more action- finally seeing Harry use some of his powerful magic in a struggle. I am also looking forwards to seeing Harry as himself again. Isn't he suspicious that his potion might be the cause of his changing magic? Is he going to keep the fact that he stole some of Ginny's magic a secret? Thanks for writing this ;)

Wonderful! A great ending! I like how you didn't clean up all the untidy loose ends (Hermione's escape/rescue) so we have more to learn in the next story! Such a great kiss!

Yay- at least part of the truth is out finally! Maybe Harry will stop taking the potion!

I didn't expect Cedric's dad- great twist! And to have him hate Harry- very clever. I would have thought the potions master and the friend of Umbridge to fight more but I like that they didn't.

As always- a great chapter! I see how calling house elves mentally would be great but limited- if one were trapped outside the manor... but great magical theories!
