Aww, I love Maurus! He's so funny but at the same time wise. But also a drunkard lmao. He reminds me a bit of Uncle Iroh from Avatar. He's one of my favorite characters in the series.

When I've read this story years ago. I didn't know that it would change my world. From the beginning till the end, every word and every chapter, it left such a deep impression on me like no other book or fiction did. And I always found myself coming back to it no matter how much time has passed because it's so precious. And I don't know if you're going to see this but I just wanted to let you know that I wanted to thank you for writing this story. So, so much.

Okay, first of all...
How did I miss such a fine GEM of a NOVEL all these YEARS?

I mean seriously! This entire story had me rooted! I have given up, literally, every single one of my nights for the past WEEK just to read this! Your use of grammar, your punctuation, EVERYTHING was o T. I seriously could not put this down!

I’m a little sad we couldn’t read about how they might have started to intertwine their lives again in the modern era, but honestly, I could do without because of such an amazing read! My heart, legit, cried out for Sess so many times! There was only one part I thought felt a little rushed and that was when he awoke on the forest floor with Kagome in his arm, but it smoothened itself to a slower pace again shortly after.

Fantastic work, I hope, even after all these years since you have written this, that you have not ever stopped writing! I look forward to reading other works by you!

Absolutely one of the best Kagome\Sess stories I’ve ever read. The buildup..the characterization, the passion, the symbolism. Everything was absolutely such a joy to digest. I have read it time and time and again and will always come back to it. Simply amazing!

I've always wondered where you got the inspiration for Kazuma's characterization. He may not been a perfect uncle for Sesshomaru, but I'm glad that he has been there for him when his father couldn't for a long, long time.

And I've re-read this story plenty of times. I've also even memorized some of its lines. This story is the best Sesshomaru and Kagome story. And I still recommend it to fellow shippers. Thank you once again for writing this. I love every bit of it.

I am rarely at a loss for words, but I have sat here caught between laughing and crying as I tried to figure out what to say.

I admit that in the beginning I wasn't sure how I would feel about this story. I absolutely loved the characterization of Sesshoumaru, which I do think strengthened as the chapters went on. I had mixed feelings about Kagome at times. Sometimes her immaturity would grate on my nerves, but it all made perfectly congruous sense by the final chapter. And I suppose that literal centuries in age difference will do that.

Nothing you wrote was cheesy in any sense. Screw the crackers and Gorgonzola. It fit in with the flow of your intent and the characters with completely believable characterization.

The white light and prism imagery - well done. Amazing. Hands down the best symbolism for Sesshoumaru ever, and I mean that sincerely.

Ultimately, I think this piece is well-deserving of all awards it has gotten, and it's been years since I have been unable to put a fanfic down like this. I absolutely loved how it ended, which is a rare thing I can claim with fanfiction. There were so many parts of this story where I could barely breathe through the words on the page, so kudos for that. You kept this story "clean" while not sacrificing one bit of relational intensity, and that is a rare thing to find nowadays, my friend.

Amazing, emotive, intense...I loved it. You could create a whole world around this relationship, and I'd make time to scour each and every letter with the way you've painted them. Fantastic job.

I loved the way you grasped the characters personalities, principally the way you wrote Sesshōmaru. I loved the background you created for him and the reasons for his upbringing.

this was a good story. you kept Kagome and Sesshoumaru in character. Sess was a written very well. the emotions were intense when they were together and it made me feel the frustrations they were going through fighting against them. i'm glad in the end they got together. this was a well thought out plot and i'm glad i took the time to read ur stori. keep up the great writing. c'ya'
