Gideon's last name is Prewett. He's Mrs. Weasley's brother. Also, his twin's name is Fabien, if that's who Jack's supposed to be.

On balance this is very good. There are somethings which cause me to scratch my head, but the author’s vision is pretty good.

Is Harry dense? He has a chance to change history and what does he do? He avoids his fellow Slytherins.

James is a prat and a criminal. Destroy Slughorns lab because he disagrees with him? Ambushing Snape? That’s not pranking. That’s criminal.

This is good so far but why would Dumbledore think it curious that Harry is flinching? Supposedly he’s been tortured for a month. Most people would spend the rest of their lives flinching and being a basket case of one sort or the other. And why would looking looking like James raise suspicion? Cousins often look closely related.

This is a very good story that is so inventive, interesting and intriguing! Your character development brings them to life. I am so disappointed that 'real-life' HAS to be more important than a hobby about HP. Sigh. I am sure that school, new job, and/or family are the priority. Someday, I hope your muse tickles your fancy again and you come back. You put a lot of work into this story, and it deserves more. Besides, you never answered who hit Harry with the blue spell that toppled him off the side of the stands. Is Dumbles truly good in this? Will you allow all the Potters to live? Will Harry be able to destroy Voldie? Will James still marry Lily? Their firstborn could be named after James' cousin! Heh.
What do the Fates have planned for Harry? Will he stay in the current time after he is done with his quest? Will the Fates use and discard him? Will he be able to finally have a life? I have more questions but I will stop now! ;)

So - Fate COULD make it so, if Harry was brought back in time and given a younger body. Just giving you wiggle room here... ;)

I have a feeling Harry will be kidnapped since he no longer has a tacker...
