This was a very nice story. It doesn't often happen that the writer doesn't make Harry go after the stone.
I have to admit that while I liked the idea of Harry's voice being gone, I missed the dialogue they could have, though it did make some other scenes a lot more powerful like when Harry apologized by using the sign on Snape instead of on himself.

You have a nice way of writing. The only thing I didn't like is how juvenile Harry sometimes was. I understand what you said in regards to him being abused and it only being logical but I feel like that's still not how Harry would react.

But overall I really enjoyed this story and would rate it an 8/10 so still very good!
I thank you for taking the time to write this all those years ago.
