good story, stayed up to read it...think I'll leave the sequel until it's not nearly 4am!

So far so good but some things really don't make sense. Severus is a half-blood and I think he spent enough time in the muggle world to know what a notebook and pen are, why would he seem surprised to see someone use them? Then there's Harry calling Snapr "Dad", that should have been a precious moment but in this chapter it seems that halfway through je just stopped calling him "Severus" and started calling him dad. That should have been saved for a special moment and not just casually slipped in.

I don't mind corporal punishment but don't you think forcing a rape victim to strip for a spanking is wildly inappropriate?! There is no way Harry would be so completely fine with this! Minimizing the effects of rape like this is reprehensible.

I really, really hope this is just a brotherly bond.

This story us really well-written and I enjoy reading it, but could you please put a warning for corporal punishment? I really don't like reading about corporal punishment without a warning beforehand.
Nonetheless, still a really good story, definitely worth keeping in my favorites.

... I think in this situation you're supposed to rub their nose in it so they know not to do it again.

I love this so far! Honestly, my heart is aching for Harry and I want nothing more for him to be okay and safe and happy and god! The way you write Severus! I love it!

About the parents never being informed about the Basilisk, or even the diary...I'm trying to imagine similar dangers being covered up in modern schools, and I just can't. And then Snape says he's keeping the boys in his extra safe quarters at night because they are safer than the ordinary dorms where other kids sleep? Apparently Albus' total disregard for the safety of children in the castle has been contagious.

I can't imagine the Dursleys being so clueless unless Albus had used the Imperious Curse on them, forcing them into that mindset.
