| darkpheonix31 chapter 7 . 1/15/2018 I like your mention of Dumbledore here. Harry would want to talk to him and the fact that Dumbledore seems to want to pawn off the conversation to his least compassionate teacher would undoubtedly be hurtful. As for Snape- it's amazing how terrible he is at simple human interaction and I think you capture it wonderfully. So many people have Snape turn instantly nice and transform him into a caring individual. I like that you kept him in character. Snape is not the mentor type. He struggles to sustain his own life and the act of caring for another person is somewhat out of his depth and you make that clear. |

| GothDyke chapter 14 . 12/27/2017 It has been a few years since the last update, and I know that the chances of ever seeing this story finished are very slim. But nonetheless I wanted to let you know that (a) your story is still being read, and (b) I very much enjoyed reading what you have written so far. You have a great plot going and wonderful characterizations. The slow build-up makes it all the more real and believable. At the moment the story is at a point where Harry is still very much alone and in heavy emotional and physical pain. He deserves some relief... And the story really is too good to be left behind. So, hoping against the odds, I beseech you to come back to it and make my day with an update. |
