Author has written 4 stories for Pokémon, Halo, X-overs, Mass Effect, and Harry Potter. Born to ravenous puffin-dingoes, and raised aboard a pirate ship; the mysterious mercenary known only as Galaxy Hunter, or GH for short, spends what little free time he has -when not doing outrageously insane missions- writing stories to amuse himself. He particularly enjoys writing and reading in the humor, horror, action, and war genres. He also sports a deep dislike for anything overly medieval, preferring to look instead to the future. Age: 20 Occupation: Atmospheric Science Student Location: Mare Frigoris, Luna. Favorite Universes: Harry Potter, Mass Effect, Halo, Pokémon, Starcraft Least Favorite Universes: Twilight (it should be noted that if GH ever discovers a planet like that of the Twilight saga, he would not hesitate to destroy the entire solar system where it was found.), any Book/TV show/Movie/Video Game where there aren't at least three gunfights/space battles/wars or something very similar, and absolutely NO Skyrim! Completed Stories: Since I re-opened up Screw This, I'm Firing the Halo Array, I guess none. Ongoing Stories: First Contact - Pokémon Fan Fic. Following World War III, which left the Earth utterly devastated, the United States of North America (formerly the United States, Canada, and Mexico) constructs a massive spacecraft and fills it with one million individuals. Its destination: the only identified Earth-like planet, 250,000-odd light-years away. However when the vessel arrives, they discover that not only is the world inhabitable, it's inhabited already, and the natives aren't too pleased with the newcomers. Harry Potter: Pokémon Trainer Universes: Harry Potter and Pokémon (Characters come courtesy of the Anime, minus Ash, Jessie, James, and Meowth. The plot comes from the games, mostly) Timeline: Begins before Harry goes to Hogwarts, he and Gary Oak are about the same age. Main Characters: Harry Potter, Gary Oak, Professor Oak Genre: Adventure/Friendship Rating: T Synopsis: Harry, four years old and cradling the broken arm his uncle just gave him as a 'birthday present' drains most of his magical core and tears a hole in the fabric between worlds. When the breech is sealed, Harry Potter is gone. He leaves behind a country shocked by the seeming death of its hero, a world that suddenly seems a great deal darker, and friends and adventures he'll never know of. What he finds on the other side of the breech is something he can barely conceive of. Friends, an adoptive family that actually cares for him, and a whole wide world for him to explore. A world inhabited by fantastic creatures called Pokémon. Notes: In this story Harry is strong magically, but not some sort of being composed of pure magical energy given human form. I don't know why other writers insist on writing him this way, it just shows lack of imagination and poor frakking technique. Also: absolutely NO SLASH. EVER. Screw This, I'm Firing the Halo Array - Crossover between the Halo and Mass Effect universes, though this fact isn't explained at all. Pretty much me venting my hatred at Bioware for making Mass Effect 3 99% perfect, and then ruining the last 1% at the end. Featuring Master Chief as Shepard, who pretty much flips the bird at the whole ending. Warning: Contains Spoilers, and it is a complete and total Crack Fic. Part 6 of The Ultimate Showdown is up! It'll probably be the last time I update this story for a while.
On the Drawing Board: Storm From the Shadows: Universes: Halo and Starcraft Timeline(s): Immediately before Halo 2, right after the end of Wings of Liberty. Main Characters: Commander Miranda Keyes, Commander James Raynor, Tosh, Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 Genre: War and Sci-fi Rating: M, for violence, gore, sex, highly disturbing scenarios, general horror, and just plain out-and-out darkness. Synopsis: Following the discovery of Alpha Halo, an ONI stealth frigate, the Midnight Sun, is tasked with reconnoitering a star system far behind Covenant lines, one that has shown heightened Covenant activity following the discovery of alien ruins on the system's lone planet. What they find spells doom for the human race: etched onto the walls of an ancient Forerunner ruin are the stellar coordinates of humanity's homeworld. The Covenant have learned Earth's location. Before the desperate Commander Keyes and her crew can warn the UNSC, they fall under attack by a Covenant corvette. Fleeing on a random slipspace vector, something goes wrong, and they are catapulted far off-course. Against all odds, they survive, only to find themselves stranded in the Large Magellanic Cloud. There they learn the darkest of secrets about the UNSC's past, and discover what might be the key to turning the tide in the War against the Covenant, and the forces that could lead to its ultimate annihilation. First part of the Dark Tide Rising Trilogy. Ghost Universe: Pokemon (anime) Main Character: Unknown Male Trainer Rating: M (Violence, blood and gore, language) Synopsis: Someone is hunting Team Rocket's top agents and killing them. Someone with no past, no records, and seemingly no conscience. Someone who doesn't play by the rules and who won't rest until he's burned the organization to the ground around him. No one knows who he is, where he got his training or Pokemon, how he commands such loyalty from them, or where he came from. They only know what to call him: Ghost. Homeward Universe: Halo Characters: Original Cast Rating: M Synopsis: During the height of the Human-Covenant war, two warships from both sides are declared lost and/or destroyed by enemy action during the intense fighting at Jericho VII; the UNSC Paris-Class Frigate Intrepid and the Covenant CAS-Class Assault Carrier Dogma. Unknown to either side the ships survived; caught up in a storm in slipspace when the Intrepid attmempted to flee, both vessels are flung across the galaxy, and are nearly destroyed in the process. Adrift, damaged, and far beyond any charted space, the crews are forced to work together through the harsh reality that without cooperation, all of them will die, cold and alone. Two crews, seven species, forced together and fighting to survive. Notes: A personal favorite idea of mine, basically I wanted to do an homage to the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, as well as what Star Trek: Voyager could have been. Namely a lone ship (or pair of ships), stranded beyond known space, two crews struggling -despite an overwhelming amount of adversity to the idea of cooperating- to merely survive. There isn't any magical technobabble that will catapult them ahead, no replicators to give them easy access to food, water, or medicine, and not even a support fleet for fuel or replacement components. No, just two badly damaged warships with one jury rigged FTL drive shared between them that could come apart at a moment's notice, and two crews that are just a breath away from drawing weapons and killing each other. This is not a nice story, there are no heroes, only the desperate crews of the UNSC Intrepid and the Assault Carrier Dogma. You Were Warriors Once -And now, you must be again." Q told Captain Picard grimly. Universes: Star Trek TNG, XCOM: Enemy Unknown Rating: M At the height of the Dominion War, Q appears to Picard and tells him the dark truth: humanity is going to lose. The Q continuum has made it clear that they cannot interfere directly in the conflict, and for once, Q is in agreement with them. Needless to say, he isn't willing to let go of the pet project of his that is humanity so easily. So he shows the crew of the Enterprise a new Universe, one where First Contact with alien life was decidedly less... benevolent. They need the training, the weaponry, and the mindset that centuries of relative peace have removed from society. All of humanity's darker tendencies have been packed neatly away in a box labeled 'unacceptable' and tied up with a rope called 'social evolution'. XCOM is about to tear that box to shreds, and what is unleashed will either make or break both Universes. The Federation needs to rediscover what they once were; to accept the truth that had for so long been shunned: Humans are warriors. Odd Ideas: These are stories that I'm giving serious thought to writing, I'll definitely start one or two after I update First Contact again. What Lurks in the Dark - An insanely vindictive idea I've had. It's set in the Halo Universe, post-Halo 3, non Halo 4-compliant. Cortana and Master Chief's ship comes in contact with something. This will be a horror story crossed over with another Universe. I won't tell you which one, because that would really ruin the tension, but I will say it isn't Dead Space, sorry. Breaking Free - A narration of my Pokémon Ruby Nuzlocke run. It's already posted over on the Nuzlocke Forums, and I've been thinking of moving it here. The Lucky One - Halo/Harry Potter Crossover idea, yeah, really. Harry, in a burst of sorrow and pain-fueled magic, catapults himself forward in time where he is forcibly recruited into the SPARTAN program. Harry Potter and the Knight Errant - At the end of his Fourth Year Harry stumbles into the Hog's Head to drink away his sorrows over the death of Cedric. Aberforth notices this and arranges for a friend of his to take him on a Summer Vacation he'll never forget. The Paths Not Taken - What if... The magistrate from StarCraft wasn't a voiceless nonentity? What if he was on the ground fighting at New Gettysburg when Tarsonis died? What if Kerrigan never fell to the Zerg? Duality: Fed up with Umbridge, the threat of Voldemort, and the general immaturity of his fellow students, Harry takes a long walk around the castle, and ends up outside the Room of Requirement. On an impulse he asks it for help with dealing with Voldemort and Umbridge. The response... is not what he expected. Harry Potter/Jak and Daxter Beyond the Veil: "Sirius! SIRIUS!" Harry shouted at the fluttering curtain where his godfather had just vanished, hit by a spell from Bellatrix. "It's too late, Harry." Remus replied, his own voice choked with sadness. He grabbed Harry around the middle as the young teen struggled to reach the dais. Meanwhile Kingsley Shacklebolt leapt forward and began dueling Bellatrix fiercely. "He's gone." "No, he's not!" Harry snarled, enraged at the loss of the only real father figure in his life, and with a grunt he drove his elbow into Remus' gut. The werewolf's eyes went wide in shock, and he released Harry, clutching his bruised stomach. As the older man struggled to draw breath, Harry bolted forward. Ignoring the shouts from Neville and the few horrified Order members who had noticed what was happening, Harry took several large steps, jumped up onto the platform, and before he even had time to think, hurtled himself headlong through the archway. Other info: This is a crossover, saving the identity of the other Universe for later so it comes as a surprise... Reviews of any of my stories would be awesome, as well as constructive criticism, I'd really like to know how I can improve my writing style. |
