you really added depth to a underlooked character

This inspired me to write my own fic on Regulus, your brought the character to life for me and made me love him dearly. thanks for writing this xxx

Wow. Thank you. This really captured how I imagine Regulus would have felt at that time.
I've always been intrigued by Regulus's character, perhaps to the point of obsession. I'm not really sure why, but I know I'll read anything featuring him. Having read so many interpretations of his character, it's really something special when I find one that matches mine. Like this.
Excuse me now, I think I might start crying.

This is a good and interesting story about a little known character.

This is actually a really interesting idea, since I've always wondered what exactly was going through Regulus' head when he knew that he was going to his death. A few things that kinda bug me, though: number one is the repeated references to how the Blacks, Walburga especially, would hate him for turning on Voldemort, but Sirius himself says, in Order of the Phoenix (I believe), that his parents thought that "[Voldemort went about things the right way, at least until he showed his true colours," or something like that. To be honest, I don't see a family as proud as the Blacks willingly subjecting themselves to life under a snake-man, but that's just me. The other thing is the relationship between Regulus and Sirius. I personally always thought that Regulus would admire Sirius for being willing to openly defy their family in the way he did while he himself did everything he could to remind everyone that he was the perfect pureblood son. But that's just my personal interpretation, which could be totally off.

If I could favorite this story at least three times, I totally would. Regulus' sacrifice gets too little open recognition. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for writing this.

Because not everyone's a bloody Gryffindor but that doesn't mean a Slytherin wouldn't be able to the right thing. If they weren't so blinded by power, they would have realized it too. And Regulus has his house's most famed cunning to see through The Dark Lord's plans. But he is young and has never been foolishly brave, so he convinces himself he isn't scared because he betrayed his family by betraying His Master. He isn't afraid of dying, he likes to think.

A fantastic fic in his point of view! You exceeded my expectations!

This is gorgeous. The length, the tone are spot on but it's the writing itself that really sets it apart as great. That last line alone stirrs up unending feelings for Regalus. I just... the whole thing is done to perfection. Congratulations.

This is a very well-done story. I think you did a good job of keeping Regulus' thoughts realistic. The fantastic last line just really summed up his character beautifully: "too proud to die unspoken, too shamed to speak his name"... Really nice work!

I'm really proud of you for this, not many people could delve into his mind and make him real. He wanted to be known that yes he could be like his brother but he was afriad of the concequences.

I enjoyed this one-shot immensely. I always felt Regulus never really got enough recognition, what with Sirius already being dead by the time the trio figured out who R.A.B. was, and this brings him to life a little more. Well done.

Brilliant. Thank you for making Regulus so real. (I honestly think he was one of my favorite characters in the HPverse, despite him only being mentioned, what, three, four times?)

Nice job depicting Regulus's struggle with this. He may not be brave or bold or heroic, but there's another word for all that, which I think he is: courageous, that is, having heart.
