This is a very different Harry Potter story.

The action scenes are good, though I’m really not fond of a Harry/harem stories.

Good story, getting better. Some readers are simply ARSEHOLES and get all uptight and personal over FICTION. American English is a completely separate language to REAL British English, and they can't spell worth a damn.

Chapter 5 confused me, but I suppose all will be revealed in time.

Shotguns shoot 'shot', lots of little lead balls, not bullets. The only solid thing a shotgun might fire is a lead slug approx 3/4" diameter and can crack an engine block in a car. It would remove a leg or turn a head into mist. Hermione, a D.E? you have to have a good reason for that, otherwise a good story.

A/ N: Bit of a naff ending, I know, but this was the best I could come up with; "In the end, Harry and his friends were alright." Who doesn't want that ending? I should probably work on my endings though, I like to round everything off, but it never seems to come out right.

I dunno, I guess I don't see what you're on about. You sewed up more than a few loose ends, including giving us a Remus/Tonks HEA, you made the ubiquitous 'poor Harry is drowning in women' joke, implied the much less common 'and James lived happily ever after - with Ginny' surprise and left Lily to live happily in sapphic bliss. Even Nev gets a pair of hotties, what's not to like!?
I favorited this story early, and I'm quite happy with that choice :D
