 Baelorfan chapter 1 . 11/26/2019 Okay, this makes sense. Harry, wanting to leave the Wizarding world, knowing that no one really cares about Harry the boy, and that people are bound to turn on him. Hermione, realizing almost too late that Ron is a jealous git, a hanger on, and an opportunist. Hermione's mother, wanting the best or better match for her husband. The Wizarding world, making up lies as usual. It's good for Hermione and Harry in a way, because the onus should be onnRonnas the Hero when the next Dark Lord appears. Minerva McGonagall, thinking of People only when she needs a new Transfiguration teacher. Lying consistently to Muggleborms about their future. I read a story recently which talked about the Wizarding world's need for a steady stream of Muggleborns. Their union is doubled and they take all the jobs that Purebloods and halfbloods don't want, or jobs that actually require some skill such as maintenance of elevator. I'd love to see stories along these lines, with both Harry and Hermione leaving the Wizarding world and the UK, and finding satisfying jobs. The Wizarding world driving out smarter wixen and patting itself on the back. |

| missgsmith51 chapter 1 . 11/6/2016 I noticed that you call Hermione's father Doug the first couple of times he's mentioned and Alan when they're at the resort. Cute story. Why am I not surprised that Ron is acting like a big git? I guess his grab for fame actually works to Harry's advantage, as it takes the focus away from him. It's hard to believe the Wizarding public - especially those who actually know him - are so gullible as to believe that Ron masterminded Voldemort's defeat. No wonder Harry doesn't want to return to a country run by a bunch of imbeciles and populated by a collection of dunces. I wonder what happens when the idiots and dunces come running to Ron to take down the next Dark Lord, because we know there will be one. (There always is.) Or will Ron become the next Dark Lord? I guess we'll have to wait and see. |
