I play video games but I haven't played as much lately. Stories in Progress Love's Assassin - Main 5th chapter 25%
Shinobi of End - Side 1st chapter 5% UPCOMING stories Assassination Classroom/Naruto crossover (Shinobi of End) As of 5/15/2015 I'm currently working on the next chapter of Love's Assassin I lost interest after while because last week I was writing the 3rd chapter when there was a blackout and I lost 9K worth of words and I couldn't recover it so I kind of felt a little depressed after that but now it's all good As of 9/11/2015 I'm currently 25% done with the fifth chapter of Love's Assassin with college I only have enough time to squeeze in a few hundred words but don't worry I'm working on it. Also I'm writing the 1st chapter of my new story (Shinobi of End) it's an Assassination Classroom and Naruto Crossover. That's all for now peace :) Oh if you're a PJO fan and like to roleplay/RP might I suggest going to Camp Phoenix Roleplay or CPR for short it's a fun place and currently active. You guys should join the people there are really friendly and that's where I usually am if I'm not writing the next chapters of my stories. What I am known as at CAMP PHOENIX Raise Payton (1st character but he might die soon I have an epic battle to the death with another roleplayer. XD) Some dude PMed me if I plan to do a reading version of my story. Well I'm not really sure about that I mean can I really make a reading story of my own story I know others have done it before but I'm not confident enough in writing to do that maybe in the future if the readers really demand it. Until then not right now. I post at my leisure sometimes I feel the chapter isn't up to snuff so I don't post it, but it does help that to know what the readers feel about the story especially for beginner authors like me. I'll say it now though don't expect me to bend my story to your wants I'll take suggestions sure but I won't change my story to how you want it to be. Writers- all of them, from famous authors to subtle FF writers- ALL depend on the feedback from our readers. Vision Dominican brought up an interesting albeit tragically true idea: "Lack of reviews is the greatest killer of fan fic writers out there. We at the institute wish to let the public know of how they can pitch in to save our dying writers. 1) Drop a review every other chapter. It may not seem like much, but reviews are actually what many of us want to see. That, and hits. Hits do make us happy but we don't really know if people like our story or not. 2) Visit our author page. Those kind of hits really make us happy. It's where we showcase our entourage of friends, beta readers, and stories. Some of us even tidy up with set areas for upcoming story ideas and character bios. 3) Send an email. While normally I'd prefer a review, emails are just as good. Really, it warms my heart to communicate with another reader or writer." What you call being "too lazy to review" is what we call "a flame to the pages" as the writers. That one minute or two that you felt "too lazy" to review is another minute of creeping discouragement that all writers feel as they begin to think... "Why am I even here…?" "What's even the point of continuing?" "My skills must be terrible…no one cares for my story…" "I'll never be a good writer...I quit." Case in point my first story(technically not mine though) Intervention it has like 37-ish views 0 favs 0 follows and 0 reviews now I'm not sure if people just doesn't like it or it's because of my writing format that turns them off. if you compare Intervention and Love's Assassin it writing style is vastly different. These are only a few thoughts that go through every writer's head- that go through MY head- when we put out a chapter / story with all our heart and soul within, and we sit there…and sit…and wait…and not a single person says even a word. Back when I was just a reader I just read stories without even dropping a single word in I Fav and follow sure but It's just not the same. I'm sure fellow authors and authors that just started will agree that everytime they see a review it just makes them feel giddy inside. I can take constructive criticism but flames... I ignore that if you have to flame my stories at least give a detailed reason why you hate it. not like for example "Your story sucks I hate it just die" my story sucks you hate it... Okay I get it that's your opinion but at least give me a reason why |
