It's kind of tragic that Monika's friends probably never became 'real' and thus have no chance of being rescued. People that she knew before Naruto, albeit limited. Presumably Monika herself wasn't even real until after the game 'ended' in the first place, either. But then, them being/becoming real would also be tragic, since Monika would carry an even heavier guilt for herself because of it. Shattered friendships because of what she had done.

Though the nature of computers, they... might be able to be brought back? Which may or may not end horribly.

God... The feels in this mate. As soon as I got through the first few paragraphs I was like... Wow. I honestly would have loved to see it turn into a full series and I know it would have been amazing but it is still spectacular in its own right. I can't wait to read your other fics mate.
