Chapter 13: Salamander vs The Twin Dragons

"Oh my! It looks like Salamander of Fairy Tail is challenging the two of them in a battle!"

"You can take us on by yourself? You're just messin' with us…" Sting said through gritted teeth as Rogue stayed silence but he kept his gaze at Salamander who smiles at them.

"Are you really that thick-headed?" Salamander asked smirking as Sting glares at him. "I don't think you know who you're talking to from some reason and I'm kind of disappointed that you'd think so lowly of me…"

"Sting." Rogue called to the blonde next to him to his attention. "He is right."

"What?"

"Ever since the match initiated, he was going easy on us. You know as well as I do." Rogue explained as Sting gritted his teeth in frustration knowing the fact it was true.

"Oh no. That's not true." Salamander intervened. "I'm just playing with you, kids, to begin with. I didn't go easy on you yet."

"We're not kids!" Sting protested. "We're true Dragon Slayers!"

"You are kids. If you are Dragon Slayers, you're kind of a disappointment. I'd expect more from you both, The Twin Dragons of Sabertooth when I heard the both of you for the first time. But it just did not live up to my expectation." At this, both Sting and Rogue entered Dragon Force mode because of his mockery.

"Like you are any better than us, Dragon Slayers! You're just a replication of the real Salamander!" Sting said referring to Natsu's title, Salamander.

"Really? Well, maybe I am. Maybe I am not. It goes to show the world is not as big as you can imagine. Oh, and about your earlier statement..." Salamander trailed off before continuing. "I am better than you, in many ways than you can tell. It's just, I'm not used to fighting weaklings."

"What did you say?!" Sting shouted.

"Do you want me to say it again? You're weaklings."

"Dragon Force is the power of a Dragon. There's nothing more powerful in this world!" Sting replied through shouting before he charges towards Salamander to land a punch to his face but to his surprise, his hooded opponent caught his fist with relative ease.

"Maybe your power's half-baked? I'd think that's what Natsu would say if he's here but unfortunately he isn't. So I'll use a different one instead." Salamander continued. "Maybe it's because you're weak to begin with!" Salamander smiles at seeing Sting's intense glare at him.

Infirmary

"Salamander..." Lucy mutters under her breath.

"I wonder what's happening with the match…" Evergreen said.

"Natsu and Salamander are winnin', of course! They're Men!" Elfman exclaimed.

"I understand if you're worried, it's your job to rest up and regain your strength and magic." Porlyusica explained to everyone.

"But…" Evergreen trailed off.

"Knowing Natsu-san and Salamander-sama, I'm sure they'll be fine." Wendy said to Lucy.

"Yeah. They're so tough, they should have a plague with that word hanging on a wall, right? But I certainly believed that Salamander might have one, seeing who he is…" Carla sweat drop at her statement while

"That's right!" Wendy nodded whilst giggling at the last part of Carla's statement.

"Now you're talking!" Evergreen said.

"That's Carla for you! You're a Man!" Elfman said to Carla.

"No, I'm a girl!" She shouted back causing everyone to burst out of laughter in the room.

"These people…" Porlyusica smiles as she glances behind everyone.

Underground Floor

"My power is complete! This is the power I used to kill Vicelogia!" Sting stated to Salamander, who kept his fist in bay.

"I hardly believe a kid like you could kill a dragon at such a young age. I mean, isn't that odd? When did you kill your dragon? When you're 10? Hah, I don't think you could put up a lie like that and prove it." At this, Sting pump all of his magic over his fist to overpower his opponent but it was never ending as Salamander did not budge from his position at all since they collided.

"Watch me!"

"Heh, you're still just a kid!" Salamander quickly tighten his grip upon Sting's fist, causing cracking sounds to resounded throughout the arena as Sting screamed in pain.

"Agh!" Sting kneels down as his burst of magic disappears from his body before he glares up at Salamander in time to feel him kicking his body across a few distances away. "Ugh!"

Then, Salamander turns to the other Twin Dragon standing in waiting before watching Rogue attempt his attack.

"Roar of the Shadow Dragon!" Rogue fired a large burst of shadows from his mouth towards Salamander who only offered his left hand against blocking the attack, surprising everyone including Rogue. But at the said action, his left glove and sleeve were shredded to pieces. His sleeve remained up until his elbow as Salamander kept holding onto the shadows before gripping the attack, destroying it instantly and overthrowing Rogue back a bit from the slight force that could be felt from the action.

All of the Lacrima-Vision zooms in closer to his left hand as a Fairy Tail guild mark could be seen on the back of his left hand, surprising every Fairy Tail members before putting a smile on each of their faces.

"This is nothing!" Sting declared punching his right fist into the ground to crack his bones back into place before composing himself to stand and sprint instantly towards Salamander who stood in waiting.

"Frosch…I…I can still fight!" Rogue muttered glaring at Salamander before charging straight towards him at the same time Sting does.

Smiling at the approaching two, Salamander jumps in the air as he looks down at Sting and Rogue stopping to stand next to each other and looks at him before readying themselves for a spell. The rocks around the Twin Dragons shakes slightly as Sting and Rogue initiated their spells.

"Roar of the Shadow Dragon!"

"Holy Breath of the White Dragon!" Simultaneously, Sting and Rogue fired both of their ferocious and large burst of light and shadow towards Salamander, the former giving it all as Salamander prepared himself to counter.

"Roar of the Fire Dragon!" Salamander fired out a large burst of fire downwards from his mouth as it collided against both white and shadow before overpowering it instantly and hitting both Rogue and Sting with an explosion that decimate the area around them while causing the entire arena to rumble and shake.

Infirmary

"Woah…" Wendy looks up at the rumbling and shaking of the infirmary before she looks at Carla. "What do you think is that?" She asked.

"I think it's the same as the one last time."

"No. That's not it." Porlyusica answered both of them looking up at him with narrowed eyes. "It's even more powerful than the last one."

"Is it Natsu's?" Elfman asked. "Or Salamander's?"

"Judging by the wild rumbling and shaking, I'd say Salamander's. We never did know his other feats in battle except what he did on the first day of the Grand Magic Games." Evergreen explained to Elfman and the others. "I am certain that he is the one behind this."

"If he is, then that means…" Wendy trailed off as she shares smiles with Carla.

"Salamander…" Lucy muttered with a small smile as she looks up.

Domus Flau

"Incredible…" Cheria muttered in awe at Salamander's attack overpowering both of the Twin Dragon's attacks. One of which could form a deep hole in the middle of the arena, showing how powerful it is earlier on in before their underground fight begin.

"That's one powerful attack…" Risley commented.

"No kidding…It's more powerful than both of them." Becky added.

"It goes to show that Salamander is taking it real this time." Arana smiled as Millianna looks at Kagura who was focused on watching the Lacrima-Vision in front of them to focus onto Salamander.

As soon as he lands, Salamander looks to the cloud of smoke covering the area before watching Sting and Rogue sprinting out from the smoke to charge at him. Immediately, Salamander held a smile of amusement as the duo engages him in a fist fight to which both Third Generation Dragon Slayers were trying their hardest to land single punch on their opponent who somehow could predict all their moves before they landed and he counters it swiftly without any flaws.

Enraged at the fact of his punches missing their target, Sting immediately goes in to chanting his spell.

"Holy Breath of the White-?!" But instantly he was punched in the face by Salamander and hits the wall a distance across, earning him a groan of pain. Sting looks up from the crater to see Rogue suffering the same fate as the black haired collided against the wall from his side after being punched by their opponent. "Damn it…Why is he so strong?! Why can't we beat him yet?!" Sting thought in rage before glaring heatedly at Salamander who sensed his state and mocking gesture his hand forward. Immediately, Sting digs his feet deep into the crater before bouncing himself towards Salamander. During his sprint, he sees Rogue charging in as well from behind. He nodded towards Rogue who silently nodded and both of their hands were enveloped by their respective elements.

"Claw of the White Dragon!"

"Claw of the Shadow Dragon!"

Watching both of them initiating their assaults, Salamander raises both his arms and decisively blocked each of their attack, surprising and upsetting Sting and Rogue before they pump their magic into their hands.

Suddenly, the sound of ripping could be heard as Salamander's right sleeve shred into pieces by Sting who continued pushing down his hand relentlessly. Looking at the determined faces of his opponents, Salamander immediately enveloped flames throughout his body before blowing them backwards with a burst of flames with his hands. Watching as his opponents stands up from their fall, Salamander grips upon the remains of his right sleeves and rips it off until his elbow before he pulled his glove away and let it fall to the ground. After that, he enters a crouched stance before charging towards Sting who composes himself and charges at him the same time. When the two neared, Sting prepares to throw a punch but Salamander caught his wrist and pulls him forward before kneeing his face, pushing his head backwards and kicking his stomach just as he let go his hold on his wrist. Once seeing an explosion occurred a distance away, Salamander turns his attention towards Rogue who jumps at him in mid-air to prepare for an attack but Salamander saw through his flaw and immediately appears beneath Rogue to grab onto his ankle and pulled him downwards towards the ground, forming a crater that stretches cracks around it with Rogue in the middle, wincing in pain.

"He's strong." Panther Lily commented with an impressive look as he watched the scene in the Lacrima-Vision.

"That's Salamander to you. But where's Natsu?" Happy asked shivering. "I'm scared of what'll happen when he comes back…" He trailed off as Panther Lily shakes his head.

"Salamander-sama is strong. Is this perhaps his true strength showing?" Juvia asked out of curiosity watching Salamander beat on both Sting and Rogue easily. "And he did not get any injuries as of yet…" She sighed in relief as Mirajane stifles a laugh right beside her. "Juvia's relief."

"True, he didn't get any injuries, Juvia. But I got the feeling he's not even being serious yet. He's still just playing with them." Mirajane stated to Juvia's surprise.

"Is it really?" At Mirajane's nod, Juvia quirked an eyebrow. "How can you tell, Mira-san?"

"I don't know. But I have a feeling." Mirajane smiled at the confused looking Juvia. Next to Mirajane, Lisanna smiles at her elder sister and Juvia.

"Even if he's serious or not, he's winning, right? But I got to agree with Mira nee-san, I don't think Salamander-sama's serious about the fight." Lisanna agreed with elder sister. "If he did, then I'd think he would destroy the whole arena already."

"You might be right." Juvia nodded in understanding as she thought about the facts. "But it's a shame Natsu-san would not be joining in."

"He'll do the same to Salamander-sama if he stayed." Lisanna stifles a laugh. "But I hope he's alright. I think I'll search for him after this." She said to Mirajane who nodded at her.

"Go, Salamander-nii!" Romeo cheered alongside Happy.

"Go! Go!"

"Is this for real?" Orga asked crossing his arms as he looked down at the beaten form of Sting and Rogue. "They are losing." He stated. "Even since the battle's started, they do not have the chance to beat him."

"I have no memory of seeing the power of the Dragon Force losing ground like this." Rufus told to both Orga and Minerva who looks down at Salamander waiting for both his opponents to stand.

Down below, Salamander stood in front of Sting and Rogue after they had recovered from their earlier state. The state of which drives them to anger and frustration. At the moment, both Dragon Slayers glared up at the Dragon Slayer before them, an intense stare issued between them.

"Come on…You don't think this is it, right?" Salamander smiles. "Because if it is, I don't think you deserve to be called Dragon Slayers with the state you are in now." He said to them with a smirk before Rogue shouted out loud.

"Sting!" Rogue called out through gritted teeth as he extends his right hand backwards, forming a big ball of shadow.

"Yeah!" Sting responded extending his left hand backwards to form a big ball of light. Together, both of the energy balls grow bigger and bigger as each seconds pass.

"This feeling…the quality of the magic has changed again." Juvia commented looking at the current scene of Sting and Rogue powering up their energy balls.

"The magic of those two has begun to merge." Mirajane stated to Juvia.

"In the end, I wasn't able to get strong but I love watching strong Sting-kun!" Lector watched in awe.

"Unison Raid!" Makarov said in surprise at the Twin Dragons attempt of Unison Raid.

"Their will, breathing and magic power have combined perfectly into one power. But…" Mavis trailed off, a small frown visible.

"Rogue, hang in there!" Frosch said.

"Sting-kun…Sting-kun, you're the strongest!" Lector exclaimed.

"There are walls that power alone can't break through…" Mavis trailed off again as her focus was onto Salamander visibly standing calmly in front of the Twin Dragons.

Infirmary

"Huh?" Lucy look up as she heard the cheering that would be heard throughout the arena gone quiet and without knowing herself, she started to feel drawn to go out and check. "What is this…?" Lucy asked to herself looking down at her right hand where her Fairy Tail guild mark showed proudly in front of her. Looking at it for a moment, she nodded in determination before she went to stand up from the bed, surprising Wendy and Carla along with the other occupants.

"Lucy-san! Why are you getting up? You should rest." Wendy exclaimed looking up at the blonde who looks at her.

"I'm gonna watch the match." She declared as she and everyone in the room looks at her in surprise. The blonde then looks at Porlyusica. "That's not a problem, right? I've recovered." She said to her as Porlyusica nodded.

"You can go. But if you feel any kind of pain, come back right away." Lucy nods at her cautious words before she walked past Wendy, Carla and Porlyusica towards the door. Just as Lucy opens and closes the door once she exited, Elfman stands up.

"Hey, wait for me!" Elfman said rushing behind Lucy as Evergreen grabs onto his hand.

"Where do you think you're going? You have to rest."

"If Lucy can go, I can go too. Anyway, I need to see this match. I've been waiting just like everyone else. I'm not gonna miss it." He stated as Evergreen looked at him and Porlyusica looked at the two before sighing.

"…You can go." She said to the surprised Elfman who did not expect for her to agree right away for his release. "But after the match, you're going to come back, you hear?" Porlyusica reminded frowning as Elfman nodded. Porlyusica then turns to Wendy and Carla. "You should go, Wendy. You want to go see the match right?"

"Right. But what about…"

"I'll go as well." Porlyusica answered as Wendy looked at her in surprise. "If one of them is injured, we have to get them to the infirmary." She said as Wendy smiled and nodded. With that, everyone walked out of the infirmary towards the arena.

Domus Flau

"Lucy!" Erza called out as she saw Lucy walking out from the corridor to their stand and the blonde smiled up at her once she stands in front of her. "Are you okay to stand?"

"Yes, it's nothing." Lucy shakes her head. "I didn't believe it at first, but thanks to Salamander, I'm alright now."

"It's nice to have you back, Lucy." Erza smiled as Gray and Laxus nodded behind her.

"Yeah, nice to have you back." Gray added. "Anyway, you came just at the right time." Just as he said that, Wendy, Carla, Elfman, Evergreen and Porlyusica appeared behind Lucy.

"Elfman! Are you sure you're okay to be here?" Gray asked. "How's your wounds?"

"They're healing. Anyway, Porlyusica-san gave me permission so that I'm not gonna miss this match!"

"Well, you all came at the right time. The match isn't over yet but I think it's starting to heat up." Erza exclaimed as Lucy walks to stand next to her and she looks down at the Lacrima Vision in front of her, showcasing Sting and Rogue stood side by side while generating their energy balls of both white and shadows respectively. As each second passes, the energy balls grow bigger as Wendy gasped at the scene in front of her.

"They're doing…" Wendy trailed off.

"Unison Raid." Lucy finishes looking at the scene as everyone looks at the scene with focus.

"Yajima-san, what the heck is that?!"

"Unison Raid. It's so called Uniting Magic. It's high level magic that in general can't be mastered even if you devote your whole life to it.

"This is the power of the Twin Dragons…" Minerva smiled. "However…" She frowned watching as the balls of energies that Sting and Rogue made disappeared suddenly before two tiny balls of light and shadow energy appeared in the palms of their hands. The burst of light and shadow reminiscent in the balls connected to each other as Sting and Rogue focused their attention towards Salamander who stood in front of them without moving an inch.

"Holy Shadow Dragon Fang Flash!" Both Sting and Rogue punches their fists forward, releasing a combined burst of the aforementioned light and shadows towards Salamander who did not move to evade.

Looking at the light and shadows heading straight towards him, Salamander let out a smile to cross his face just as it nears him.

"He's not moving? Is he gonna intend to take it?!" Panther Lily asked out of surprise.

"What is he doing?" Lucy asked in surprise as the combined burst of light and shadows by the Twin Dragons instantly hits Salamander and exploded, decimating the underground floor and covering it whole with smokes and debris. "Salamander!" She called out as everyone looked eyed wide at they witnessed. Meanwhile, everyone in the arena remained silence as they waited with baited breath amidst the smokes and debris still covering the underground floor.

"Oh my! Folks, it looks like Salamander-sama had taken the Twin Dragons' Unison Raid head-on! We are sorry for your fuzzy view at the current moment but it will be fixed shortly."

"Kagura-chan…" Millianna called as she peers over Kagura's shoulder to see the surprise look on her face, much to her own surprise to see the kind of expression of her face.

"That is…" Eve muttered.

"Hard stuff." Ren finishes.

"Why didn't he dodge it while he can?" Hibiki asked wide eyed.

"We have to wait, men. This match will not be over if we don't know what the outcome is, men." Ichiya explained.

"Salamander-sama…" Mirajane utters under her breath as she looks at the Lacrima-Vision zooming in on the smokes and debris that was starting to disappear little by little.

Meanwhile, Mavis stood up on her position as she stared up at the Lacrima-Vision. Her eyes wide as she looked at the cloud of smoke to search for any signs of the hooded individual but her efforts were fruitless. Behind her, the other Fairy Tail members were staring up at the Lacrima-Vision with baited breath like the rest of everyone as they wanted to see if their Sixth Guildmaster is safe after taking the Unison Raid head-on, which greatly shocked them.

"Salamander-san…"Wendy muttered as she looks up at the Lacrima-Vision along with her friends nearby.

"Huh, huh…" Sting panted along with Rogue as they looked at the dissipating smokes in front of them. "Huh, we got him. Finally, we got him." Sting said with a smile as he stood proudly while Rogue stared hard at the smokes with uncertainty.

"We should be certain about that, Sting." Rogue said to Sting who looks at him with a quirked eyebrow before looking at the smokes with a relieved smile.

"Are you kidding me? He took on that attack. It's his fault for taking that head-on." He smiled before he turns around to leave. "Let's go. We've beat him already." Sting assured Rogue but he was not convinced as he looks closer of the cloud of smoke.

After a while, Rogue begins to ease up and he nodded to Sting before turning around to follow Sting. But before they could leave, a voice interrupted the silence.

"Oi, is that all you got?" At the voice, Sting and Rogue immediately turns their heads around in shock to see the smokes slowly dissipating to reveal blonde locks amidst the gas. After that, the smokes slowly clears away to reveal yet a pair of purple eyes and a handsome face that was hidden behind the shredded hood with a smirk spread across his lips. Just as the smoke dissipates completely, everyone could see the cloak adorned by him was shredded to pieces leaving only the top half of the fabric. Steam rises off of the blonde after he had taken head-on against the attack but there were no apparent injuries visible on his body, much to the shock of Sting and Rogue.

Up above, everyone were shocked and was silenced as they look upon the young and handsome face of the Leader of the Four Ishgar amongst the Ten Great Wizard Saints since they had not seen his face because of the hood he wore and they were seeing it now for the first time ever.

But amongst the awed audiences and participants, there were others that were shocked beyond words and rendered speechless.

"T-This is impossible…" Erza muttered wide eyed as she stared up at the extremely familiar face she knew but she does not want to believe the reality that was greeting her now since the face she'd saw right now had perished a long time ago. "…He couldn't possibly be alive…" Tears started building up on the corners of her eyes as Erza stared at the face that had age a bit but she all the same know that it was him. She cannot forget his face even if she wanted to.

Standing next to her, a teary eyed Lucy looks at the face she'd fully recognised before tears started falling down her cheeks as the shock she's expressing couldn't let her form any words. But she also knew as Erza that the face they were seeing belonged to none other than him. A wide smile spread across her face as she blinks and stared at the reality in front of her, fully accepting it. After a while, the blonde found the words to speak. "…H-He's alive all this time, Erza…It is him..." Lucy answered the red head before she continued. "It's Izayoi-kun."

"Izayoi-san…" Wendy muttered in shock and awe alongside Carla.

"…I-Izayoi-kun…" Mirajane utters in disbelief as she looks upon the smirking face of Sakamaki Izayoi showed upon her and the other awed struck Fairy Tail members. Tears begin to spring against the side of her eyes as a smile stretches across her lips, accepting the reality presented to her as Mirajane cups both her hands. "It's you, Izayoi-kun…It's really you…" She uttered as a pair of hands held both of her arms and Mirajane smiles at her younger sister hugging her.

"It's him, right?" Lisanna asked as Mirajane nodded before the two of them focuses on the Lacrima-Vision.

"There's no other that can replace him. There's no one."

"Sakamaki Izayoi?" Makarov said in disbelief as he stared at the Lacrima-Vision before Mavis speaks next to him.

"Izayoi-kun, go." Mavis exclaimed smiling shedding a few tears that fall down her cheeks at the sight of the blonde again. "Welcome back."

"Oh my goodness, what do have here?! The Leader of the Four Ishgar, Salamander-sama had taken the grunt force of the Unison Raid from both the Twin Dragons and survived. But at the cost of his cloak, the face hidden behind the hood could now be seen. Yajima-san, do you know him?"

"Yes, Indeed. How could I ever? He is one of Fairy Tail's S-Class wizards known as the Fairy's Dragon seven years ago. He is Sakamaki Izayoi."

"Sakamaki-kun, so you're still handsome as always even after your honourable sacrifice." Ichiya commented with tears in his eyes.

"So the blondie's Salamander from the start?" Ren asked. "I didn't expect that…"

"I think we all couldn't expect something like this to happen." Eve exclaimed. "But to see him once again…It is great." Eve smiled amidst the bandages covering his mouth.

"So he's alive after all, huh? Well, I'm certain things are gonna get heated from now on." Hibiki commented.

"Sakamaki Izayoi-kun…" Jenny muttered the name as she recalled the appearance of the blonde together with Mirajane seven years ago in the Sorcerer Weekly for a good amount of the year. Looking down at the blonde man in front of her which was Salamander, she hid a sultry smile at the appearance of the blonde Wizard Saint.

"Salamander is him?!" Cheria exclaimed in pure surprise.

"I got to admit…You were true, Cheria. He's not ugly." Yuka admitted looking at the handsome appearance of the Leader of the Four Ishgar.

"Sakamaki Izayoi, eh? I do not expect something like this…" Lyon commented with a hint of smile.

"Neither am I. After the return of Fairy Tail, everyone believed him to die after he confronted Acnologia…"Jura thought. "How did he survive?" He asked before realisation struck upon him. "He was appointed to be one of the Great Ten Wizard Saints two years ago. So it is probably within that time period that something happened to him." He stated in theory. "But…to see him alive once again…I am grateful." Jura finishes off with a nostalgic smile upon seeing the blonde he came to respect since their first time meeting to battle again Oracion Seis seven years ago.

"Fight, Izayoi-sama!" Cheria shouted with a smile as she cheered his name out loud while her guild mates look on in amusement at her infatuation of the blonde which might have increased the moment his hood was destroyed within the Twin Dragon's Unison Raid.

Outside of Domus Flau

"Sakamaki Izayoi." Ultear mutters the blonde's name as she looked down at the appearance of the blonde. "So he lived…" She stated as Meredy froned, recalling the conversation the two of them had with Jellal about the cause of Fairy Tail's survival. He told them that it was the sacrifice of the blonde that put up a final fight against the apocalypse Dragon, Acnologia in an attempt to protect the Fairy Tail members in Tenrou Island. Aside from that, both Meredy and Ultear know of the blonde seven years ago ever since they saw him, having had encountered him in their battles before he went off somewhere.

"Ultear, are we still continuing our…?" Meredy asked to Ultear who looked at her before nodding.

"Yes, disguise or not. Sakamaki Izayoi knows what we are searching and since he can keep our secret safe, he'll be beneficial if not at all a big help to our mission." Ultear explained as Meredy nodded before the two of them focuses their attention to the match whilst paying attention to the surrounding colosseum for any detection of the same magic power they've sensed yesterday.

"He's alive…" Jellal thought in surprise as he looks down at the Lacrima-Vision from his place on the top of the colosseum, overlooking the arches around Domus Flau. A small smile spread across his face at the presence of the blonde, knowing his red head friend would be undeniably happy about his appearance after the tragedy that had befallen him seven years ago and after effects that affected everybody of his said loss.

Meanwhile, a hooded cloaked individual watches the live feed through the Lacrima-Vision as the appearance of the smirking Izayoi appeared in the Lacrima-Vision. The individual looked up at the blonde before tears suddenly made its way across her cheek before falling down onto the ground.

"This is…" Jellal look up in realisation. "Him?!"

"It feels like Zeref, but it's different somehow." Ultear informed Jellal.

"He's in the stadium again, isn't he?" Meredy frowned.

"Jellal! Don't let him get away this time!" Ultear reminded Jellal who started running.

"I know! I'm concerned about the match, but right now…" He trailed off leaving the scene.

"Sakamaki Izayoi-kun…I know him!" Millianna exclaimed as her guild mates looked at her including Kagura. "He once saved Er-chan seven years ago."

"He saved Titania?" Risley asked as Millianna nodded. "He must be strong at that time."

"He'd even beat Er-chan in a duel and got himself to be an S-Class wizard." At this, everyone looked at her in surprise. "Yeah, Er-chan told me the story of how he got to be an S-Class wizard in the first place."

"Woah, beating Titania to be an S-Class wizard…? That's nothing short of an examination." Arana explained in astonishment as Millianna nodded.

"Right after that, I've heard all sorts of rumours circling of the Fairy's Dragon more than Titania." Millianna stated. "I don't think he would be popular than Er-chan." Millianna added in amusement before she looks at the Lacrima-Vision with her guild mates. Meanwhile, Kagura kept her focus onto Salamander which is Sakamaki Izayoi.

"Sakamaki Izayoi…" Kagura thought as she looks at the blonde in question.

Underground Floor

Hearing the cheers from everyone which echoed throughout the underground floor, Izayoi let out a pleasing smile before he focuses his attention at the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth standing in front of him. "...Ah, it's been quite stuffy wearing that hood for a time, you know?" The Leader of the Four Ishgar, Izayoi raised an eyebrow knowingly as he smirks at both Sting and Rogue who stared at him with nothing short of shock and awe.

"Sakamaki Izayoi…" Rogue muttered as Sting stared at the blonde in front of him.

"Fairy's Dragon…You…" Sting said to Izayoi, having heard the title that held over much popularity than that of Titania seven years ago.

"The name's Sakamaki Izayoi, kid. You should respect your elders." Izayoi smirks as Sting glares at him while Rogue frowned.

"We've heard about you." Rogue said. "The Fairy Tail S-Class Mage that is the pillar of the Fairy Tail guild itself seven years ago. You were also called the Fairy Tail's Prodigy,"

"I've heard about that comment for a few times, if I do say so myself." Izayoi said before tying the top half of his cloak around his waist, revealing another set of clothes underneath the cloak which consisted of a dark black vest above a black shirt. There were brown straps lining up along the center of the vest with the silver buckles holding it to tighten the vest. The brown straps went up until the collar where one of the straps came loose. And around his collar was a pair of new blue silver headphones. "Anyway, the clock's ticking. I think I should finish this now." Izayoi proclaimed as both Sting and Rogue readied their fighting stances in preparation. "Since you called yourselves true Dragon Slayers, I'll show you what a real Dragon Slayer can do." At this, a massive burst of blue magical power flows out of Izayoi instantaneously, pushing back Sting and Rogue from the force it generates. Immediately, everyone in the Domus Flau stared in awe as dragon scales appears on his face and arms.

"That's…a lot of magical power." Makarov shielded his eyes from the intensity of the light radiating out of the blonde through the Lacrima-Vision. "Is this possibly his power dominant in him?" He asked as he along with Mavis watches the scene with every Fairy Tail members in awe and astonishment.

"He can willingly enter Dragon Force?" Lisanna asked out of surprise knowing how difficult it is to enter the final form of Dragon Slayer magic since she knows that the blonde was one of the First Generation Dragon Slayers amongst the three others.

"Impossible!" Gajeel exclaimed. "That blondie can't master that already." He added in frustration as Levy smiles at him. "After all that happened, he's just showing off…" He frowned before noticing Levy giggling next to him. "What?"

"You're complaining, Gajeel." Levy answered as Gajeel turns his face sideway in slight embarrassment before he focuses onto the match. "Don't you miss him?"

"As if. The day I'll be saying that is when I can actually beat him in a duel." Then, Gajeel let out a smirk. "Now those two will get a hand full of that beating from him instead. Ha, this is better than teaming up with Natsu. If I went in there with him instead of Izayoi, he'll be dumping me into that cart the minute he wanted to fight those two alone." Gajeel theorized as Levy awkwardly laughs.

"I don't know about that, but I think it would happen…" Levy stated before she looks down at her blonde friend and raises her hands to cheer him on. "Go! Izayoi!" She shouted along with every Fairy Tail members nearby.

"Give 'em hell, Izayoi!" Jet shouted.

"Fight!" Freed cheered alongside Bickslow.

Meanwhile, two hooded cloaked individuals sat next to each other as they watch the match through the Lacrima-Vision. The one sitting on the right begins letting out a smirk of amusement while the one sitting on the left side glances up at him smirking.

"Sweet memories…"

"It's quite the moment for us too, you know?" The one sitting on the left replied to the person sitting on the right.

"I know. But recalling this time, I wouldn't miss it. The look on their faces…It's priceless." He said as a soft smile spread across the womanly features of the left person as she looks at him before putting her head onto his right shoulder.

"Do we have to do this?"

"…We have to. She doesn't know yet." At this, the two of them looked across the single hooded cloaked individual standing behind the rows of audience.

Underground Floor

"W-What?!" Sting exclaimed out of shock as he looked at Izayoi who entered Dragon Force as easily as them. "H…How?"

"Heh, you're not the one who could entered this form." Izayoi smirks. "So, which one…" He trailed off as blue flames covered his entire being.

"Blue Flames…" Erza muttered looking down at the flames reminiscent of the blonde's dragon slayer magic. A small smile stretches across her lips as she watches the blonde smirking, recounting the fact that the blonde is having fun. As she recalled all the facts, Erza looks at Izayoi through the Lacrima-Vision and mutters. "It's really you, Izayoi-kun…" A few tears shed from her eyes and fall towards the ground.

Down below, Sting and Rogue watches blue flames enveloping Izayoi's right hand before orange reddish fire appears and enveloped his left hand. Suddenly, a stream of crackling lightning crackles out of existence around the blonde, much to Sting and Rogue's surprise as well as everyone. The orange reddish flames which were a reminiscent of absorbing Natsu's fire and the crackling lightning were from absorbing Laxus's lightning seven years ago. Across from the blonde, both Sting and Rogue stared eyed wide at the three visible magical power possessed by their opponent. "So which do you prefer?" Izayoi asked with a nonchalant smile as he stood in front of the two.

"Impossible… Three powers at the same time?" Sting asked himself. "That is impossible!" He exclaimed as Izayoi tilted his head for a moment.

"Nothing is impossible, kid. Maybe it's for you but I'm different than you."

"Shut up! I'm not a kid!" Sting grit his teeth as he glared heatedly at Izayoi whose smirking.

"Let me prove it to you. Because to me, you're still just a kid!" Just as he finishes, Izayoi suddenly appears directly in front of Sting and Rogue before he punches Rogue upwards following up with a kick to Sting's chin and sending him along with Rogue towards the arena above.

"His strength…" Sting muttered with gritted teeth as he flew upwards outside of the hole in the arena alongside Rogue. At this, everyone in the arena looks up at the Twin Dragons above the arena before they watch Izayoi jumping from the underground floor towards the Twin Dragons who positioned themselves on facing him.

"Rogue." Sting called as Rogue nodded. Then the two performed their spells again. "Holy Breath of the White Dragon!"

"Roar of the Shadow Dragon!" As the burst of both light and shadows headed towards Izayoi down below the underground where he was halfway through jumping the hole of the arena floor, the older Dragon Slayer just smirked before tapping into his own power.

"Triple Roar of the Aurora Dragon!" Izayoi chanted before firing out a burst streaming of blue flames collaborating with fire and lightning altogether. A massive dragon could be seen overshadowing the blonde in the background as the devastating attack consisted of the three elements surprises everybody with its massive size as it instantly tore through the collaborated attack of light and shadows before heading straight towards Sting and Rogue.

"Sting!" Rogue called as Sting nodded before the two kick their feet together to launch them backwards and they barely evaded in time as the devastating roar launched straight towards the skies, parting the clouds instantaneously. Just as Sting and Rogue landed on the ground of the arena, the two of them look up at the blonde standing at the edge of the hole with a smirk on his face. The blue flames, fire and lightning that were enveloping him earlier disappeared, leaving the blonde with his dragon-like scales on his body for everyone to see.

"Clever. I'll give you props for that." Izayoi said to them before he appears in front of the Twin Dragons in an instant. "So I'll give you a reward for that one." The moment he finishes, he pulls back his right fist before punching his fist forward.

"We'll beat you!" Sting shouted as he and Rogue punches their fists forward, colliding them against the blonde before they were instantly overpowered and thrown backwards a couple of distances away. Just as Sting stands up from the collision along with Rogue, they were panting as their magic powers were slightly diminishing from the constant use of magic. Suddenly, their Dragon Force mode fades in and out, much to everyone's surprise.

"What's happening?" Romeo asked looking at down at Sting and Rogue's Dragon Force mode blinking in and out.

"They have constantly been using magic ever since the start of the match. Entering Dragon Force mode depleted their magic power largely and to use Dragon Slayer magic over a few times…It tires them greatly." Mavis explained.

"Come on, is that all you got? Give me your best shot!" Izayoi exclaimed as Sting and Rogue panted before the former glares at him and pulls his left arm backwards followed by Rogue. Just like earlier, two burst of light and shadows appeared in the form of magic balls behind each one of them.

"We'll give it all we've got! Don't you worry!" Sting shouted as the magic balls kept growing into massive sizes before they disappears and reappears into tiny miniature size balls in their palms.

"Then I guess I have to repay them back twice as they got…" Izayoi trailed off smiling before entering a stance by spreading his feet further. "Dragon Slayer's Secret Art…" Izayoi exclaimed punching both of his fists together, enlightening a blue emblem in front of him as blue flames envelope his entire being while everyone perked up in surprise. Simultaneously, five distinctive burst of blue flames appears behind Izayoi and spreads through five directions before forming craters once hit the walls behind, surprising everyone in the Domus Flau. For everyone who was near the said walls, they stood up to stand a little ways back to be safe.

"Take this!" Both Sting and Rogue shouted. "Holy Shadow Dragon Fang Flash!" They both fired their burst assault of the aforementioned light and shadows towards the blonde who stayed in his spot. As the assault nears its way to the blonde, Izayoi smirks as he parted his burning fists before positioning his right arm at his hips and then grabbing the assault with his left, surprising everyone.

"Exploding Aurora!" Izayoi shouted as he destroyed the assault with his fingertips and moves his left hand away in the process before punching forth his right fist, shooting off a burst of incinerating wild blue flaming hurricane that instantly collides with the Twin Dragon Slayers. Once hit, the whole arena was engulfed in explosions after explosions before then decimating it with one huge explosion which simultaneously followed up by the ground behind the blonde that instantly exploded outwards at the same time and removing all traces of the five distinctive burnt lines made by earlier.

"Oh my goodness?! It looks like the mega-moves of both sides ended the match. But what just happened?! Salamander—I mean, Izayoi-sama has obliterated the entire arena after destroying Sting and Rogue's Unison Raid with his left hand while he initiated his attack with his right hand and thus hitting them. It's like an earthquake here! Do not worry, folks. The smoke too will clear soon." Chapati announced with a look of anticipation as he and everyone else waited for the smoke to clear up. "Alright, folks. The smoke is clearing up—Sting and Rogue, the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth—" At this, the smoke around Domus Flau were mostly clear up and everyone sees both Sting and Rogue lying on the ground next to each other, unconscious. Meanwhile, Izayoi stood in front of them as he closes his eyes and immediately his dragon scales disappears, undoing his Dragon Force mode. "T-This is…The last one standing is Sakamaki Izayoi!" At the announcement, Izayoi smiled as a breeze blows his way, fluttering his hair along with the ends of his sleeve and shirt. "It's Fairy Tail! He defeated the Twin Dragons! The winner is Fairy Tail! With this, they've leaped to first place! And this brings an end to the fourth day of the Grand Magic Games! After one day off, we'll be back the day after tomorrow with the final battle!"

Hearing the announcement, Izayoi kept smiling before a shout resounded through his ear drums and he turns to the direction of the shout before a pair of arms wrapped around his middle side.

"Izayoi-kun!" Mirajane smiled through the tears running down her cheeks as she hugged tightly around the man she loves.

"Mira." Izayoi looks down at the woman before wrapping an arm over her. "Do I have to explain everything from the start? Because I think it would take a long time." He asked amidst the moment. At this, Mirajane chucks a laugh before pulling her head to look up at the blonde.

"We have a lot of time tonight and tomorrow, don't we?" Mirajane asked before she wraps her hands over his neck and leans up, kissing the blonde who kisses back, surprising entirely everyone present in the colosseum. After a brief moment, the two pulls back as a blush dusted over Mirajane's cheeks, recounting the feeling of kissing the blonde in the past and loving the taste of his lips over hers again now. But other than that to feel his presence and see him right now, she felt eternally grateful.

"You are as quick as ever, Mira." Erza smiled walking over to the couple with Lucy in tow and the rest of Fairy Tail members that immediately jumped down onto the arena to see their long lost guild member.

Pulling back her hands from the blonde's neck, Mirajane raises her eyebrow knowingly at the red head. "You are as quick to spoil the moment." She replied to which causes Erza smiled triumphantly.

"Izayoi-kun…" Lucy called as Izayoi turns to the other blonde standing next to Erza and he noted the dried tears across her cheeks. Lucy stared at Izayoi for a brief moment while Mirajane backs away from them to watch the moment. Then, Lucy runs towards him and hugs him as fresh tears welled up at the corner of her eyes.

"It looks like I really let all of you miss me a lot." Izayoi smiled down at the blonde who tightens her grip onto the blonde.

"Yes, you really let all of us miss you." Lucy responded. "I miss you, Izayoi-kun…" She muttered sobbing against the blonde's vest. After a while, Lucy pulls back her head to look up at him. "…You look different than before." Lucy said hinting a small smile as she looks at the slight changes of the blonde appearance overall. "But you turned up in a good way though."

"Two years can do this to you." Izayoi stated with a mirth tone.

"It's been two years…?" Lucy asked much to everyone's curiosity.

"Yeah. But we'll save that story for later, all right?" Izayoi smiles down at Lucy. "Anyway, I won. But it took quite the sacrifice." He smiles playfully causing Lucy to smile warmly, liking his sense of humor whenever they are.

"Yeah, I've watched and heard about what happened." Lucy said after hearing what happened to Natsu by Gray. "But it's a good thing I didn't stay in the infirmary when I could." Lucy replied inching closer to Izayoi. "…How are you, Izayoi-kun?" She asked as she raises her hand to grasp his left cheek.

"I never forgot about all of you, if that's what you're implying." Izayoi takes a hold of Lucy's hand on his cheek as Lucy smiles warmly.

"So…You're one of the Ten Great Wizard Saints and the strongest mage in Fiore? I think you've done some progress in the last two years…" She said as her lips were inches away from the blonde above hers. "…I love you, Izayoi-kun." She whispered before landing her lips onto Izayoi's. Tears shed from her eyes as she closed her eyes and smiles, kissing the blonde she came to love seven years ago. As they kissed, they ignored the stares everyone were giving them and they just basked in each other's presence. After a moment, they pulled back as Izayoi smiles down at Lucy.

"…I love you too, Lucy Heartfillia." He replied to her confession as Lucy smiles tearfully before she backs away to let Erza to walk up to him since she knows the red head had been waiting for her return.

Just as Erza stood in front of the blonde, every Fairy Tail members looked at the scene in pure anticipation. Erza stared up at the blonde smiling down at her in amusement.

"You've really done yourself good, Titania. I thought I would never get to see you shine after seven years had passed."

"But it's five for you, doesn't it? Anyway, what did I tell you about calling me that?" At this, Izayoi smiles knowingly and pats her head, surprising her before he leans forward to land a kiss on her head.

"It's really good to see you, Erza. It really does. You, Lucy and Mira. So don't hold back whatever feelings you're bottling up because I know what you're feeling right now."

"And that is?" Erza asked with closed eyes as small tears appears at the corner of her eyes.

"I think you know the answer to it, don't you?" At this, Erza bit her lips as she leans her head forward against Izayoi's chest while he puts his head over hers.

"You died…" Erza utters under her breath. "After seven years, we thought you died…Do you know how we felt? How I felt?" Erza asked as Izayoi kept holding onto her in a comforting hug. "And only then, you decided to show up now? How can we respond?" Tears slides down her cheeks as she put her fists against Izayoi's chest while everyone in the colosseum saw her crying, much to their surprise. But in watching the scene unfolding in front of them, some of the audience started to cry along at the touching scene.

"Hey." Izayoi responded as Erza slowly looks up at him smiling. "We have the whole day ahead of us, right? I'll explain during that time." He said brushing her tears away with both his hands cupping her cheeks. "How about that?"

At the action, Erza let out a smile and a brief laugh before she nods at the blonde.

"I'll like that very much."

"Good." Izayoi answered as he looks at his other teary eyed guild mates and Mavis only started to speak.

"Welcome back, Izayoi-kun."

"It's great to be back." At this, everyone decided to rush towards him in tears as Izayoi laughs at his guild mates crowding both him and the flustered Erza.

"From the looks of it, Fairy Tail is welcoming their loved member after finding out of his identity behind the hood. And it's such a touching moment…" Chapati announced before blowing on his nose with a tissue as tears welled up in his eyes. "Excuse me for a minute! I apologize!" He said before blowing on his nose and composes himself for a moment. "…Anyway, the final day…will feature a survival battle, with all of the members participating! Which guild will achieve victory in the end?! Don't anyone miss it!"

"I figured it would turn out like this!" Guildmaster Bob smiled.

"That's what I expected, I guess I should say…"

"Our goal for the final day has changed!" Obaba stated.

"Bring it!" Makarov said down below the arena.

"Defeat Fairy Tail!" Everyone aside from Fairy Tail shouted.

"You're mine, Gray." Lyon smiled.

"Laxus…Makarov-dono's grandchild…" Jura smiled.

"Erza…" Kagura muttered before frowning deeply at the scene she witnessed earlier. Gripping her sword tightly, Kagura left the room surprising her guild mates.

"Natsu…" Ren said.

"Let's have some fun, Izayoi-kun…" Ichiya said determined.

"Sakamaki Izayoi-kun, eh?" Minerva licked her lips.

"I can't believe those two lost. But it's a given when they fought him, They didn't stand a chance at all." Orga stated to Sting and Rogue.

"It was an entirely interesting match. I didn't expect it myself either." Rufus smiled before frowning at the fact he couldn't memorize any of Izayoi's move after he had revealed himself to everyone, much to his confusion.

Smiling at a certain smiling blonde down below arena, Minerva quietly exited the room.

"T-That guy!"

"Saber's master!" At one arch of the colosseum, the nearby audience stood up back away from Jiemma who releases an eerily aura around him.

"You really did give us a great show, Izayoi." Panther Lily stated looking up at Izayoi as Happy walk to stand next to him.

"Yeah, but what happened to Natsu?" Happy asked as Izayoi smiles.

"I'm sure he's down there all by himself to find a way out. You don't have to worry, Happy. He's too stubborn to give up. He'll find a way soon." He said as Happy sweat drop before nodding at the blonde who looks up at the clear blue skies for a moment. He then lifted his hand, stretching his index finger and thumb, the hand signature for Fairy Tail. At the action, every Fairy Tail members lifted up their hand to form the Fairy Tail's hand signature. After a while, Izayoi lets down his hand as he looks at Lucy.

"We managed to overturn our zero." Izayoi said to Lucy who stood next to him.

"Yeah, it's just like you said, everyone's gonna get a flaming slap to the face!" Lucy smiled widely at him.

"We'll make sure of it in the final day." Erza nodded in assurance as Gray nodded standing next to Juvia.

"I'll win it for sure this time! You can count on that!"

"Oh, Gray-sama!" Juvia said as Gray smiled at her, causing her to fall back to which Gray caught her before she fell. "Gray-sama…" She muttered out of conscious as Gray sighed while everyone laughed at the scene.

"I'll show them what they're missing out." Izayoi said as everyone looks at him. "That Fairy Tail will always be the strongest guild for decades to come." He smiled as he declared. "Although, I hope they got some challenging opponents for me…Because if they do, I'm all fired up." Izayoi smirked as Lucy, Erza and Mira shared smiles at one another at the blonde's antics of fighting strong opponents whenever he went.

"Our aim is winning, right?" Wendy asked holding up Carla.

"Of course, we've made it this far." Carla said.

"Although, we were booed at the first day but you managed to make them support us, Izayoi." Elfman explained standing next to Evergreen. "You're a man just like always."

"Yeah, you did a magnificent entrance to begin with." Evergreen commented.

"We were frustrated at some point but we managed to overturn our frustrations around." Erza said as Gray continued.

"And now, we're one step away from total victory."

"Just like Izayoi-kun said, we're gonna turn this thing around!" Lucy added smiling as Izayoi smiles.

"Yeah, let's show them what we've really got for the final day." Izayoi proclaimed as everyone yelled.

"Yeah!"

"And aim for the 30 million Jewels!" Makarov said as Izayoi laughs at this along with everyone.

"A lot's happened since I joined the guild, but I'm so glad that I did!" Lucy thought smiling as she looked up at Izayoi and her smiling guild mates. "This is what Fairy Tail is about!"

Catacombs of Domus Flau

"Damm it…Salamander…You're dead to me!" Natsu grumbled as he angrily wanders to whatever place he is. "I was just about to do that to you! I have to more faster if I have the chance next time..." He grumbled even more before looking up in realization of where he currently is. "Um…Where the heck am I? Is this under the arena?" Natsu asked as he continued wandering before stopping himself at a sight. "What is this?" He asked as he squinted his eyes before his eyes widen. A look of realization and surprise could be seen visible on his face as Natsu looked at the dragons bones littering around the catacombs of Domus Flau. "These are…Dragon bones?! A dragon graveyard…?!"

Crocus

Night

"Jellal, what's happening?" Ultear asked.

"Don't tell me, he got away again?"

"No. I put some distance between us, and I'm on his trail." Jellal responded as he overlook the hooded cloaked individual walking alone amidst the city of Crocus. "I'm thinking I'll make my move where there aren't any other people around."

"Roger." Both Meredy and Ultear said.

"You're not getting away this time…" Jellal trailed off. "You possess magic similar to Zeref's…Who the hell are you?!"

Mercurius

"So Sabertooth's been defeated…by Salamander-sama…by Izayoi-sama…" Yukino mutters as she could be seen standing on the edge of the corridor.

"You must have mixed feelings, Sergeant Yukino." A knight said to her as Yukino replies.

"No. I no longer feel ay attachment to the guild. That aside, I just can't get used to being addressed as 'Sergeant'." Yukino looks at the knight with an apologetic smile.

"My apologies." The knight bows in apology. "Participating in the Eclipse Project…requires a temporary rank."

"The Eclipse Project…" Yukino mutters with a serious gaze. "If my power may be of use, then I'm prepared to wield it to the utmost." Yukino then turns around as she stares down. "For the sake of Arcadios-sama, too, who invited me to join." She then realized something. "I suppose I should refer to him as 'Colonel'."

"That's all right. I call him 'Captain' myself. And his old friends call him 'Dio'."

"Really…But he's socially awkward, isn't he?" Yukino asked as she looks down at Arcadios walking away from Mercurius. "Even though he's trying to save the world, no one is aware of it…"

Crocus

Secluded Area

"I'm gonna walk a bit. I'm not gonna drink until I'm drunk over here." Izayoi smiles sarcastically as he stood up from his seat and looks down at both Mirajane and Lucy before looking at his guild mates partying in front of him. After the fourth day of the Grand Magic Games has ended, the guild celebrated by going to Ryuuzetsu Land and spent their afternoon there without the presence of Natsu. The day went by incredibly well without destroying anything in sight and the guild enjoyed the moment brightly primarily because of Izayoi's presence. With that, the guild now celebrated yet again by spending the time drinking in a secluded area in the middle of the night.

"For your information, you can't get drunk, Izayoi-kun. You're impervious to alcohol, right?" Mirajane stated in amusement as she stands up along with Lucy.

"Yeah, I'd think Cana still remembered how she lost drinking against you after the two of you made a bet." Lucy stifles a laugh over her back hand while she adorned a simple pink striped sleeveless shirt and a blue pair of jeans.

"Well, I'm not gonna spend my evening like this." Izayoi pocketed his hands as he turns around to leave.

"May I join you?" Mirajane asked out of the blue before she turns to the blonde next to her. "You can come along too, Lucy."

"Huh? But…"

"Do you want to stay?"

"Well…" Lucy glances behind at her drunken guild members. "Alright, I'll go with you." At this, the three of them left the area as Erza saw them leaving but she did not voice out her protest on them going. Instead, she relaxes herself before she eats her strawberry cheese cake in pleasure. Across from her sat Gray and Juvia who stared lovingly at the former looking elsewhere.

"Where the hell is Natsu anyway?" Gray asked looking around for any signs for the pink haired but unfortunately there was no signs of him at all. Meanwhile, the rest of the Fairy Tail members were drinking in a festive mood outside of a secluded area. "Shouldn't he be here now?"

"Yes. He should be here, though." Erza said with a calculative look before shrugging and putting a piece of cake in her mouth. "But he'll be okay. He'll get out eventually."

"Yeah, that guy's too stubborn to die in a cavern underneath the colosseum. But to me, I would let him be." Gajeel said munching on a piece of meat as Levy sweat drop at his antics. The two of them plus Panther Lily were sitting across Erza, Gray and Juvia.

"I hope Natsu-san's alright. It must be horrible to wander alone." Wendy frowned hoping inside her friend would be safe.

"You don't have to worry, Wendy." Carla assured as Happy nodded standing next to her.

"Yeah! Natsu can find himself a way out." He said as Wendy and everyone around the table looked at him.

"Yeah, that idiot's too dumb and stubborn to die." Gray smiled.

Crocus

"So how does being a Wizard Saint worked for you, Izayoi-kun?" Lucy asked out of curiosity as she looked up at Izayoi who walk next to her while Mirajane walk the other side of him.

"Hm, it works just fine to me. It doesn't give me any paperwork to sign so I'm good." Izayoi answered with a playful smile as Lucy quirked an eyebrow. "But now and then, I have to deal with measly meetings that are not even related to what's important." Izayoi wore a serious frown, changing the mood of the atmosphere as both Lucy and Mirajane looked at him in surprise.

"And what's important?" Lucy asked.

"The whereabouts of the Black Wizard, Zeref." Izayoi answered shocking both women who stopped walking and looked at the blonde who stopped a few feet ahead of them. "The Magic Council is tasked with dealings of Guilds around the country but there is a more important task than all of that." He explained. "…Seven years ago, I fought with him." He said as Lucy and Mirajane looked at him in shock.

"You survived fighting against him, Izayoi-kun?" Mirajane asked as the blonde turns to her with a nonchalant smile.

"Yeah, but I know he's holding back a lot from when we fought." Izayoi answered.

"Did you manage to beat him, Izayoi-kun?"

"No, he disappeared before I could though." Izayoi frowned before looking at the two women. "Anyway, I think the both of us will be bound to fight someday."

"How do you know?" Lucy asked.

"What if that was the reason I came here?" Izayoi asked surprising Lucy and Mirajane who knew of his true origin which was not of their world but another. "Mavis summoned me here. Why would she do that in the first place? There's no apparent reason for her to do something like that." He said. "For centuries, he lived immortally. But what is his intention? I'm gonna find that out when we'll meet again."

"If you possibly defeat Zeref, what will happen to you?" Lucy asked out of the blue as Izayoi looked at her.

"I don't know. I just might return to my world." He answered before smiling. "But that'll be a long time before that happens. So don't worry about that, alright? Now, I'm not going anywhere." Izayoi raises his hands in surrender as Lucy looks at him with a frown before she looked at Mirajane who graces her with a small smile. At that gesture, Lucy responded by smiling at her albeit reluctantly.

"Well then, from now on, Izayoi-kun…" Mirajane turns to look at Izayoi. "You will not be leaving Fairy Tail anytime soon without our permission to. You have to stay with us whether you like it or not." She scolded as Izayoi chuckles before smiling playfully. Mirajane looks at Lucy before nudging the blonde to give her speech to which Lucy looked surprised by the gesture but nevertheless she speaks.

"Um…Mira's right, Izayoi-kun. You're not permitted to leave Fairy Tail…Fate or not, we're going to be in Fairy Tail together no matter what." Lucy exclaimed seriously as Izayoi looks at her and Mirajane.

After a while, a smile spread across the blonde's face as he answered.

"It looks like I don't have any other choice than to accept the consequences, huh?"

At this, Lucy smiles and nodded together with Mirajane. "Anyway, we should continue walking. I like the night breeze here." Mirajane smiled breathing in the cold fresh air before Izayoi turns to his right with narrowed eyes.

"It's that magic power again…" He muttered before he runs towards the direction surprising the two women present nearby.

"Izayoi-kun?" Mirajane asked before she and Lucy followed him.

After a while of chasing the blonde along the streets of Crocus, Lucy and Mirajane deliberately pauses on their sprinting and looks at Izayoi standing a few feet ahead. They looked at him in confusion, noticing he was staring up into something. That is when they followed his gaze that they were able to know the cause of his gazing.

On top of the rooftop in front of the three Fairy Tail mages, there were two hooded individuals standing in front of them and were looking down on them three.

"Izayoi-kun." Mirajane frowned with a serious look as she looks at the hooded cloaked individuals gazing upon them. Then, the two hooded cloaked individuals jumps down in front of them as Izayoi stayed in his spot, sensing both individuals were not emitting any dangerous intent but he couldn't help but sense their magic which were similar to Zeref's. At this, Izayoi knew from this moment that the two standing in front of him were two out of the three individuals he sensed last year and this year.

Meanwhile, Mirajane extends a protective hand in front of Lucy in an act of protection as Lucy looked at the two hooded individuals in curiosity and slight anxiety.

"You…" Izayoi said as the tall figure smirks in front of him and went to grip upon the sides of his hood.

Meanwhile…

"Halt!" Jellal said to the hooded individual in front of him as they stopped. Jellal then exposes his face before continuing. "I'm revealing my identity. Now you reveal yours." Jellal said stepping forward before noticing the legs of the individuals. "A woman…" He thought before the hooded individual turns to him as her face revealed to him. A shock look came upon Jellal as he stared at her face. "It can't be…"

Meanwhile at the same time...

"You know it to be true so why don't you believe it?" The tall figure asked as Izayoi, Mirajane and Lucy watches the two hooded individuals pull down their hoods to reveal their identities. At the moment their hoods had been pulled down, Lucy and Mirajane gasped at the shocking revelation in front of them while Izayoi looked at the blonde tall figure in mild surprise.

"Hello, past me."

"That day, we believed in victory. The final day was a really hard-fought battle. Do you remember it, Lu-chan? And then…July 7th. We lost…to fate."
