Howdy, folks. This will be the home for my current work of fanfiction, Naruto: Iron Soul. I've written fanfiction for a small handful of fandoms under a different pen name, but that was a very long time ago. I didn't really intend to get back into it, then the idea for Iron Soul struck me like the proverbial ton of bricks. I started outlining the plot out in my head when I should have been trying to sleep. It was very annoying.

Now that I've actually started to write the story, it's been flowing easily and I'm having fun. It's like when I first started writing fanfiction twelve plus years ago, except my spelling and grammar is probably a bit better.

Until adding Iron Soul to this author profile, it was used as an easy gathering point for the stories and authors I've been following. Most of the stories are of greater than average length, very high quality, or both. Some lack in quality, but make up for it with quantity or a unique or interesting premise.

I was puttering around looking for an online picture of a particular piece of artwork depicting the partial armor of a Rifts RPG Cyber Knight to stick up here to give everyone an idea of what Naruto's armor in Iron Soul looks like when I stumbled across the image in now sitting next to these words. It fits in rather well with the vision I have for Naruto's full armored form.

NOTE - 7/6/2012: I've been doing some revision to the story today. There have been a lot of readers unhappy with my use of Teacher instead of Sensei and a few other particular habits I've picked up, such as capitalizing certain words and totally ignoring Japanese suffixes. You can't please everyone, but I didn't mind making some changes.

NOTE - 11/1/2012: Howdy, folks. I'm just dropping in to let everyone know I've not abandoned Iron Soul and fully intend to finish it. As I've told several readers in PMs, I've had an extremely hectic semester. It's been very writing intensive and I just don't have the mental energy to do work that isn't required for school.
