Good story. I don't really like that you made it so that "Claire" doesn't need skin contact to use her power, because it makes her way too overpowered, the kind of overpowered that would have the PRT being really worried, not bending over backward to accommodate her. I was fine with her being able to use her power on herself, as otherwise she wouldn't be able to do practically anything in public without great risk. It is odd that the PRT are being so accommodating to Marquis. I really doubt that they don't realize that he is taking over the city. Giving a city to a supervillian just to have another healer at all the Endbringer battles might make sense logically, but the PRT has a certain level of pride that would never allow that I think.

The (probably) first merely-AU-and-not-OP-SI fic I've read on Worm and liked almost from the start.

wow talk about a story stalling! If you put in any more filler trying to delay until you can figure out what you want to do now it wont even be a story! You can't keep dancing around everything and hinting at everything but never actually SAY anything. 24 chapters in and honestly I don't FOR SURE know ANYTHING I didn't know in chapter 12... After all if EVERYTHING is implied and NOTHING is ever actually stated or written out.. did you actually write a story or did you just write a bunch of fluff while implying a story. You cant leave everything for the reader to fill in! Any cool mods? or has she really stagnated for this long? Because she's still mid lvl power at BEST. Her body guards power lvl seems to jump around up and down depending on your mood. Purity is her self but with some low lvl body armor. Same for her quickly aging dad. The Lung clone's power is a fraction of what it was... His "gang" has taken up maybe 7 lines in the whole story and we know not a single thing about it. The Ferry? That's long been forgotten!... Along with about a dozen other plans/ideas I mean come on! She can literally steal powers so she wont be a low lvl brute who can heal unless she can get her hands on you... a rifle shot to the head and shes dead... still! I mean she walks around and acts like she's a god... But she hasn't done anything worth mentioning. She's literally the least interesting person in your story now! The side character's in the Empire 88 have more personality now! Its like you've just given up

Good to see that Marquis and company are keeping themselves in shape and training. That probably helps more than a lot of people would think.

The problem with thinking/knowing you're the strongest is that, eventually, you get blindsided. Especially in world like Worm, where powers can take on many, many different forms. I feel that Lung is in for a rude wake-up call.

I'm glad that Colin didn't get into too much trouble over the tank incident. Smart move on the PRT's part, providing extra protection to Marchioness. Let's hope it doesn't blow up in their faces.

Yep, Sherrel can't let go of her grudge, and she's dragging the others with her, though some are more enthusiastic about it than others. This probably won't end well.
