Ooooooo I like that idea! I only ever read about how Naruto's dad wanted him to be praised a hero for holding the Kyuubi prison in his infant body and how foolish or naive he was to expect his people to treat a jinchuriki any better than most other villages and whatever. So instead of trying to honor Minato's memory/sacrifice and follow his last wishes...the Third Hokage actually (apparently) went against direct orders of his successor under the foolish delusion that civilians had a right to know classified ninja details just because they were grieving in this fic. He willfully endangered his Hokage's/successor's children and the last of a clan once allied with Konoha...for what reason? The worry that the peoples fear and hate would grow unless they knew highly classified secrets that them knowing automatically qualifies them for treason and execution? All he did was give them someone to focus that negative energy he was "worried" about on and I don't believe he failed to realize what he was doing or understood what he did in hindsight even unless he truly is senile and moronic. What exactly was Minato's actions towards crowd control if one of his people so boldly attempted to assassinate his son(I'm assuming) which is high treason.

Holy shit dude Minato and Rin live! Huzzah! Also if the fox destroyed the curse or "ate the snakes" shouldn't the seal be gone? And why is Kakashi just now starting that bad habit of being late? Why is he even late? Everyone he ever cared for isn't dead this time. But I like the silent implication that he and Harry are close in their own stoic way. So! Since things are happening so differently the attempted Uchiha coup and following massacre totally don't happen right? And who exactly is the Uchiha in the mask if it's even a real Uchiha? It can't be Obito/Tobi can it, since he's dead dead and didn't witness Rin dying by Kakashi's hand to be brain washed while on the verge of death.
Also that thing with the bone density? Yeah, further evidence that the hospital staff is incompetent since it's only NOW brought up if it actually took affect so long ago. Also the Uchiha's should have a good rep in popularity right? Since a handful of them are close/friends with the Fourth Hokage and his family/team and since nobody seems to really know anything of what happened the Uchiha clan can't be suffering from rumors that they're to blame. Unless Danzo's being a colossal problem making prick.

Well damn! Hopefully ONE of Naruto's parents still survived somehow! And Rin. For Kakashi and Naruto's sake.

Did Harry's hair change out of trauma? Because stating that Harry is suffering from a "side effect" of the curse mark not long after making it clear the curse was sealed and subdued as if it can't do anything gives the impression that their efforts don't do much but prolong how fast the thing affects him and that he WILL succumb to the creep's mark. It's weird. Stating and making it clear how that whole traumatic experience still affects him would probably be a better way to phrase it if that's not what you were going for.
Next is the 1st change to major events being that Rin is still alive and fairly healthy currently. Cuz she died as Obito was dying in canon right? I hope that lasts and more positive changes occur before I get to the last updated chapter. It'd also be great if the medics weren't so useless and incompetent. I mean they failed to locate the seal on him during the "examinations", saw he was poisoned and basically claimed he could walk it off even though his fluctuating chakra was a serious concern, gave up on attempting to figure out why his chakra was wonky (when he was clearly experimented on and poisoned) and decided that letting him hope for the best and go on with his life was an adequate solution despite his chakra having dropped so low he apparently could have dropped dead, AND gave up on even trying to hypothesize how a person's hair could change like that at the root. Not seeding any confidence in their practice and experience doing that to a child.

Wait...Orochimaru had given the mark to Anko 2 years previous to this and he was still in the village and spoken to respectfully with no watch dogs? Bruh.
I hope Harry is capable of removing it completely along with the effects.

I sincerely hope that the Dursleys face all sort of legal and international trouble. I also hope to see some significant changes to the Naruto timeline even tho this isn't finished (but maybe you'll pick it up again?)
