You know...Imagine how...interesting...it would be if this power was used villian-essly. Villianlly? You know what I mean! Someone shows up dead, shot multiple times, but with no bullets inside them? Not only this, but if they were able to 'port their weight, using gloves and such, maybe even the bodies would be found in weird places with nothing about how they were moved. The phantom killer, or something equally pretentious like that. Heh.

Alright, so!
First Impressions. I'm actually writing this just after chapter two, before reading three, by the by. The first two chapters? Pretty damn good, in my opinion. Very little in the way of grammatical and spelling errors, most personality/emotional changes from Taylor can be excused by the new power and how it affects her and makes her feel. The homeschooling bit was interesting, as few authors I've read so far take that sort of route to get away from dealing with good ol' Soph and Ems, buuuuuut... well, it does make sense, and it's not hard to explain away, so I'll take it. Thoroughly enjoying this story so far, and great work. Seriously.

Fantastic story! I love your ideas for divergence from canon it's a great fresh take. I love your uber and Leet, one of the best renditions of them I've seen! They don't get enough chances imo. Thank you for this great story!

Yeah, this is a really fun thought experiment for Taylor the girl who was insecure with her powers as a bug master before it turned her into something... else (Khepri). So, I really enjoy the fact that everything here tries to explore all sorts of different avenues rather than being a simple rehash of everything (that admittedly made Worm a great read) and looks to other characters to tell the story. Leet and Uber are such fun characters, and seeing them in action here is great for a laugh but also for a feel.

It's been a while since you updated, but hey, maybe you'll come back? If not you've done a great job with this story and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Good story, I hope you continue it someday.

I really like this. All the powers are VERY well flushed out without being overpowered. (Like, REALLY well thought out.) / \\\ I’m glad you’re rippling out from canon a bit. The Shadow Stalker and Movement plot lines are intriguing, and the Simurgh aftermath was perfect. / \\\ I never thought I’d like Uber and Leet, and I’m admittedly still rather unsympathetic to their canon portrayal, but your versions are solid characters that I genuinely enjoy. / \\\ Idle curiosity here, but if Taylor has what basically amounts to a secondary Striker power [[can completely disappear from reality anything she can touch under about 110 lb]], then would that mean she could one-shot Bonesaw without setting off her body’s failsafes? Obviously Bonesaw could use some Bio-Tinker shenanigans to prevent this if she knew it’d be a problem, but that depends on what Taylor has shown so far. If they don’t expect it and Taylor succeeds in putting on a bit of weight, then she might be able to take out some combination of the lighter Slaughterhouse members Bonesaw, Cherish, Burnscar, and/or even Mannequin just by seeing them and teleporting a self to touch them. Horrifying, but intriguing possibility if possible. I can’t imagine her trying this at first, even against human S-Class threats, but the sheer aftermath of having killed Bonesaw and/or up to half of the Slaughterhouse’s roster in one fight? Lung is impressive, but that’s be world news. / \\\ I’m definitely following this story, but no pressure on continuing if you’ve lost the muse or wouldn’t feel like you’d enjoy it. You’ve set up a very interesting AU, and I am very thankful that I got to enjoy it. Have a great day!
