 Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, Star Wars, Worm, and Lord of the Rings. About Me: There isn't really much to say. I'm in my late twenties and have moved around a bit. I have a short attention span and an overly active imagination, basically I daydream a lot. Normally I would would be content to lurk in the background only reading and the rare review, but I have actually managed a fic of my very own and intend to continue to the end where ever that may be. My reason for posting it is for advice and tips on how to better my writing so please be patient with me while I learn what works and what doesn't. I read all kinds of fics and stories but I continually find myself drawn back to the Harry Potter universe and more recently to the Worm universe. I am open to constructive criticism, in fact I encourage it. I want to better my writing as it is my goal to write my own short original novel series. (long ways away from that happening.) K. Raiden Story info The Gift This is my main project that will take up 95% of my writing efforts. I have the story planned out almost to the end but it comes along slowly because I am an inexperienced author. I started The Gift as a way of relieving stress and it wasn't supposed to take hold of my imagination like it did. So now it is entrenched enough that I intend to finish the story no matter how long it takes. A Light in the Dark This is my next main project after The Gift is finished. However it will see the occasional update as I get stuck on The Gift or as I am struck with inspiration. As it is, this one is written in the first person so it breaks away from the writing style I use in The Gift and is more similar (and I hope more refined) to Winter's Grasp. If you haven't read Worm then you totally should, it is pretty amazing and free. You can't beat free. Winter's Grasp Winter's grasp is my first side project to help keep me writing when I get stuck on The Gift. As of right now chapter one is all that exists. I have not put much effort into this story, choosing to focus my limited attention on The Gift. Seeing how long it takes for me to put out even a short chapter for The Gift I am glad Winter's Grasp has not seized my imagination as I feared it would. (May not see another chapter) A Jedi in Middle-Earth Yes, another side project. Pretty much the same as with Winter's Grasp, this will be a side project for when I get stuck on The Gift. I thought it up while reading LOTR fanfiction and watching Star Wars at the same time. Hopefully I wont make too big a mess in the sandbox. Ideas for future projects Maybe I will try my hand at writing a fanfic for an anime. I'm very unsure of my ability to translate an anime or manga into purely written form as much is conveyed through visuals. It is an interesting challenge so I may try a short one chapter story to test the waters. If there is a good anime you would like to see a small original character insert chapter send a pm and I'll keep it in mind. I'm going to limit this to being one chapter deals until The Gift is done. At the moment I'm considering a Naruto, FMA, or at the request of my muse a Halo fic. Honestly Halo has an addictive storyline and such a rigid structure I'm afraid of even stepping foot into that fandom, even for a single chapter. We all know it has too much captivating power to stop there. Author's Note to other authors I have so many OC's just waiting for a story to live in it makes me sad when I delete their info just to have some peace from their constant insistence for their own fic (damn you Val!).
