Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings, Twilight, and Hobbit.
"For me, writing is like a jigsaw puzzle. It’s not coming up with ideas that’s the problem, it’s getting them to fit together into something that makes sense."
: About Me :
Hey all, I'm Rella. I'm twenty-something, I'm British, and I'm terrible at talking about myself. I read a lot, and I write for fun/relaxation/stress-relief, but I'm always looking to improve. I had an active account on back when I was still in school, but have only recently dived back into indulging my writing habit again - in between IRL work as a digital designer, book nerd, and cat mum. I mostly write and read fics involving OCs, and occasionally I narrate podfics too.
Hope you enjoy my humble attempts at literary amusement.

: Completed Projects! :
- Lapsus Memoriae - (Rávamë's Bane Trilogy: Book 1)
Lord of the Rings // Rated T // Status: Complete
Full Description: Every Tolkien fan has a “Tenth Walker” in them — but Eleanor Dace hasn’t read a word of Tolkien since she was thirteen and was still fantasising about adventuring in other worlds.
Now she’s twenty-two, a third year English Literature student about to graduate from college; when she discovers that her teenage fantasy just got a bit too realistic for her liking. Now she’s trapped in Arda, a world she has little idea how to survive in, trying to recover a missing set of memories that might just help get her home. Or they might just make things go from merely life-threateningly bad; to apocalyptically worse.
With little more than her hazy recall of the Lord of the Rings trilogy to draw on (and a sarcastic second personality giving cryptic advice in her head) Eleanor begins to realise that there is something sinister going on in Middle Earth, besides the return of the One Ring. Something more than mere coincidence brought her here, and only remembering what it is will get her home again.
[My spin on the ever popular scenario: “a girl falls into Middle Earth.” Long chapters. Slow build up. No romance planned yet, though that may change depending on development/feedback. Rated for language.]

- Compos Mentis - (Rávamë's Bane Trilogy: Book 2)
Lord of the Rings // Rated T // Status: In progress...
Full Description: To put it mildly, Eleanor Dace is up to her pointy elven ears in it.In the past few years she’s managed to get herself stuck in a coma, stranded in Middle Earth, joined the Fellowship as its resident healer, and now it turns out she has an amnesia-suffering spirit of creation living inside her head. To make matters worse, the only two people in Arda who claimed to have answers to her bizarre situation, or how it happened are either dead, or bound by an ancient oath to never speak of it.
Meanwhile, as Eleanor struggles to make sense of what little information she’s scraped up on her past, things within the sundered Fellowship start to move in an even stranger direction. A decision that saved someone’s life ends up having some rather unexpected repercussions — and as Eleanor starts to notice some worrying changes in herself and her abilities that are definitely not of her own doing, an even bigger issue looms:
Is it finally time to come clean about where she really came from? And who she really has living deep in the vaults of her mind.
In the chaos of a brewing war, only one thing is certain for Eleanor anymore. If she can’t somehow figure out who she once was, and the reason why she chose to erase her own memories in the first place, she might not survive long enough for the plucky spirit sharing her head to say: ‘I told you so.’
[The continuation of my spin on the ever popular cliche: “a girl falls into Middle Earth.” Rated T for language and depictions of violence.]
- Equinox -
Final Fantasy VII // Rated T/M // Fantasy/Mystery // Status: Writing first 5 chapters...
Full Description: A year has passed since the Life Stream burst from the earth, washing away Midgar and the might of the Shinra empire with it. Now those left behind work to pick up the pieces of their broken world. But someone out there is still angry. They haven't forgotten what Shinra inflicted on the planet. And they are certainly not forgiven.
All across the continent, Shinra loyalists and benefactors have begun to disappear in the dozens, their bodies turning up viciously mauled and put on display as a warning. While the Turks work to discover the ones responsible for the grisly murders, the residents of the new Seventh Heaven have their own problems to deal with. When Cloud almost runs down a badly wounded woman with his bike, he and Tifa find themselves dealing with a lot more than just her nasty head wound.
This battered, broken young woman with trauma behind her eyes knows him. But despite his restored memories, he’s never seen her before in his life.
As the Turks begin to close in on their target, Reno and the other begin to realise they are not dealing with a normal human serial killer. And when the trail finally leads them straight to Seventh Heaven, it becomes clear that Tifa and Cloud’s new live-in nanny is not at all that she appears — not entirely honest, not entirely helpless, and not even entirely human.
Set between FFVII and FFVII: Advent Children. Rated for language, graphic depictions of violence and mature themes. This is not a love triangle story but may include some pairing later in the story.]

- Blacklight - (A Twilight Revamp)
// Rated T // Status: Testing/Planning...
“There were exactly three things I was certain of now.
First, Edward Cullen, and his four supermodel siblings, were all vampires.
Second, there was a part of him — a big part, that I’d been trained to fear since before I could walk — that thirsted for my blood specifically.
And third, there was nothing more I wanted to do right now than cut him into teeny-tiny pieces, set the pieces on fire, and then watch them burn to ashes just to make sure..."

Isabella “Izzy” Swan is no wilting violet, and never has been in all her seventeen years. That ship sailed long ago when she was born into Venatorum, a highly secretive society of vampire hunters, who’s sole purpose is to defend humanity from the monsters who prey on them from the shadows. They have rules, strict ones too, and they don’t take kindly to those who break them.
There’s just one problem.
Izzy just broke the biggest rule of all: Never reveal yourself or your fellow hunter’s existence.
Now faced with either the Venatorum’s trail and punishment as an adult, or retreating to the safety of her childhood home in Forks for a year, Izzy choses to taste-test life as a normal teenage girl. Go to school. Make some “normal” friends. Maybe even go to prom. What could go wrong?
Only five vegetarian vampires on the school roster, one of whom seems intent on taking a bite out of her, one over-protective father ignorant of the fact his daughter is a professional monster hunter, and one death penalty hanging over her head if she so much as steps out of line again.
Oh yeah, there’s no way this could go wrong.
[A Twilight revamp. Rated T for language and moderate depictions of fantasy violence. Not a romance-centred story.]
