Harry most certainly should NOT apologize to Mcgonagall. She was incredibly out of lineshe loses all right to any respect. Harry was provoked into assaulting a student, PROFESSOR Snape PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED A STUDENT and was only told off by Mcgonagall, but she'd "see what she could do" about his expulsion?
No. Snape deserves fired at MINIMUM and more likely a stint in Azkaban. That Mcgonagall somehow thinks Harry deserves such an extreme punishment and Snape deserves a mild scolding, shows that she doesn't deserve even as much respect as the average child, and Harry can lay into her all he wants. No apology neededshe is Deputy Headmistress and Head of Gryffindor House, and is CRIMINALLY neglecting her duties.
Just because Hermione worships Mcgonagall and any other adult doesn't mean Harry should let her browbeat him into submission. He should man up and tell her to fuck off and browbeat her right back.

Harry talks about Neville being more confident, all I see is Harry being a major pussy. Honestly it's like he thinks he can't do magic to defend himself so he just lets himself get walked all over.

Gotta be honest, I vehemently despise this entire chapter. It's the very odd duck in an otherwise amazing effort. Hopefully, it was a one-off.

Such a fun assembly of characters. But really? Twister, before taking a portkey. Harry'll be kissing the ground at the far end and refuse to ever take one back. Luna and Hermione have both been great.

I really like this one so far. It's lots of fun, seeing Harry being normal and happy hanging with Luna is a real treat. And the Gang is proving quite agreeable. Though I thought Moody would scold Harry for just handing over his wand without question. I think I shall very much enjoy my time with this fic.
