DokB chapter 6 . 7/22 When an outsider meets a SI, for the purpose of deus ex, and things get meta, is the fourth wall squared or cubed? |
DokB chapter 5 . 7/22 Is this my little pony? Cuz I love your stories, but wtf? I'm just glad they didn't go on an adventure. Or get added to the party. Anyway, interesting story. |
CthuluWarlock chapter 25 . 7/11 I love it ! He's building an army of capes loyal to him that he can call on for help to fight scion |
WearyCurmudgeon chapter 25 . 6/25 - BoredKing You're forgetting about point and silent casting, that let's you ramp up your output speed considerably. Still does nothing for raw power, but does allow for spell spamming of various kinds, thus possibly bypassing any particular resistances a foe may have. Granted, again, not that useful against Leviathan, but against most other foes it's a game changer. |
BoredKing chapter 19 . 6/20 Wait, what? "Harry Potter style magic has a greater rate of fire and versatility than any other type I'm aware of." The versatility I can kind of agree but rate of fire? With all the swishing and jabbing and saying crap in messed latin? Even if it was fast how would that help against Godzilla? You might as well just get a mini gun. To deal with Godzilla he needs raw power or some serious trickery. |
BoredKing chapter 10 . 6/20 Murphy reminds me of Stitch, from Lilo and Stitch, crossed with Goose, Captain Marvel's Flerken, for some reason. I like him. |
BoredKing chapter 1 . 6/19 I have so many questions. How does going to L.A. or wherever he ended up, give him more time? Why is everyone turned into red dust? How did he get to wherever he is? Is it one of Merlin's powers? Why doesn't he drink the weird vials? You would think with something like Godzilla hunting you, you would take any chance for power. And what type of unholy abomination is that "dog"? |
Guest chapter 25 . 6/18 This paragraph is pretty clunky and a bit repetitive, might be a good idea to reword it: Karen rolled off the couch, hand sliding under the cushions to come out with a large futuristic pistol that gave an ominous hum as she came to her feet, scanning for enemies. |
nerymauro chapter 25 . 6/18 the feels! my heart can't take them |
IamKroGan1 chapter 7 . 6/17 I gotta say I love that Butters is the one in charge. |
WearyCurmudgeon chapter 25 . 6/16 - Loki Firefox Power set of Calvin Rankin with the following powers locked in: Modified version of Sage (Cypher's power for Telepathy, Taskmaster's Power for the Mutant Scanning and Scramble's power for Secondary Mutation), Abilities of Madison Jeffries, Forge, Milan and Mister M. Which leaves you with one free slot to play with. Sure, no more sleeping, but the ability to learn anything physical or otherwise, upgrading your own body beyond human levels, technopath, power armour and generalist Tinker and the ability to fabricate any parts you need by transmuting dirt or carbon monoxide etc into whatever material you need. Want to build your own Moon base? You can. Want to create a better space industry? You can. More efficient and eco-friendly ways to generate electricity? You can. Weather control system to deal with droughts, floodings etc? You can. Make a list of things bugging you, outside of politics, and whether or not the above collection of powers could resolve it. My guess? Yes, you can. ;-P |
Difdi chapter 25 . 6/15 Merlin is a bit wrong about making people feel safe by making them safe. If someone has been told all their life that actual safety is dangerous and being unsafe is safe, they’ll feel unsafe if you try to make them safe. |
jon reeve chapter 23 . 6/15 /Reminds me of a Harry Potter/Hermione fic called "Adorable Violence." Instead of Hermione reining Harry in like many fix-it fics, 'Adorable' has Harry reining in Hermione's violent and Dark Lady-ish tendencies. It's pretty funny and adorable iirc. |
jon reeve chapter 22 . 6/15 /Heh, yes, pick on Dawnie for scaring off ths benevolent genie. |
Silverscale chapter 25 . 6/15 Cartman is probably one of the best characters of South Park, he got a lot of layers that doesn't JUST involve racism, violence and stupidity. He is also rather crafty, intelligent, insightful, deceiving, manipulative, observant, inventive, stubborn, supportive (it happens), friendly (not false either), a good friend (a bit of a stretch but Cartman has had moments when he has worked alongside his friends, and others, and gone through many ordeals with them, even if for the most part, he is a selfish jerk), and finally Cartman has a lot of trauma. That does not excuse his many violent, vile, vicious, villanous, and vindictive acts/behaviours/actions. Cartman is a big piece of work more complex then he appears, there are more layers to this violent crybaby then you might see. Although for the most part has many of his actions for the latest episodes turned more... how to I put it? Disturbing? Strange? Weird? It is hard to properly put a word on Cartman's many strange acts, some are open ad clear. Others. Not so much. So he got a lot of layers to him, but he's still one messed up kid. |
