  Cat chapter 8 . 7/27 Last review, continued. Didn’t mean to hit submit yet. What I wanted to say was why do people take so much time out of their day to invest in reading fan fiction, something that is supposed to be fun and lighthearted and not analyzed to shreds or picked apart for every single flaw/stray from canon... stick to close to the plot, and you’re just regurgitating the original content. Stray too far from the plot and now everyone is upset you’ve taken it in a new direction bc it wasn’t the outcome THEY went into reading this wanting to see. I wish people would just relax and enjoy it for what it is: one person’s interpretation of a world that they clearly enjoy enough to seek out fanfic on... why spend so much energy hating? Ahhh, sorry. It’s just disheartening to see. For what it’s worth I’m enjoying this a lot and I’m glad to see you aren’t exactly shy to drop in a little bit of romance and innuendo already. I just finished the beast of a story Dreaming of Sunshine and there’s not really any romance to be had there, so of course I had to keep hunting to sate my kakashi-eque hunger for trashy, witty adventure/drama/romance stories. And, well, here I am. I shall report back with a proper review. For now, thank you for sharing all of this hard work with us, and for persevering through the uncalled-for rudeness I see littered in the reviews. |
