   Simianpower chapter 1 . 7/21 POV problems (scene starts from Harry's POV (including inner thoughts) and a paragraph or two later switches to Hermione's) Uses wrong words (your rather than you're, well instead of will, flaunt rather than flout) Inserted random words ("take that tone with me BUT Mr. Potter") Misspelling major character names (Quirrell) Skipped or misused commas And all that was in the first fifth of the chapter. After that we have: more of all of the above that's not how werewolves are turned (in Potterverse or any other story); it takes until the NEXT full moon that's not how Occlumency works (seriously? mental realm? mental plane? physical combat in the mind? That's infantile!) absorbing the wolf because reasons (too dumb to contemplate) SuperPatronus despite mispronouncing the spell (*sigh*) I stopped there. Halfway through the first chapter, and I can't take it any more. This was written by a teenager |
